Miracle Margo, our longest resident, had moved to a new foster home and was acting as if she could get along with some dogs. She was (and still is) a sunbather that was co-existing with chill dogs but a JEALOUS streak reared its ugly head when attention was being given out. So she packed her belongings and is back in her original foster home with not as many perks and privileges. She enjoyed the puppies at the temp foster too, as her foster mothering skills were in full bloom. This 3-4 yr old girl just needs a family of her own and to be the center of attention, as in no other pets. She wants to be your companion, sunbathe, get belly rubs, and to play tug. Her adoption fee is $250 and she is fostered in Roachdale. Contact Terry to meet this doll 317-946-1316 The one photo shows how far she has come as she was pulled from a shelter after being found as an emaciated stray. She had to have intestinal surgery to clear debris out of her GI due to her rummaging through trash to survive, thus it was a Miracle that she pulled through in her dire condition. Now she needs the perfect family to cherish her and keep her safe.

Stitch is this lovable brindle baby with a strong desire for XXL Kongs, soft blankets, snacks and his spot on your lap. Stitch is house broken and will indicate when he needs to go out if he’s waited too long; we put bells on the back door for him to nudge. He’s still learning his manners and gets very excited for people of all ages. Make sure you and your guests secure your shoes behind a closed door or someone may go home without one. He loves squishy, smelly shoes, in a most expensive way. Stitch is a pretty solid watch dog when it comes to his younger humans leaving him inside. Some of that is anxiety, some jealousy. He will try to join his friends outside. He will also let you know when he senses something off, i.e. mailman, delivery driver or another animal in the vicinity. Stitch has become a reliable walking companion on his leash. His prey drive still exists so he is not recommended for dog parks or homes with small, furry friends. He can live with other dogs his size, but playtime can sound aggressive. He is territorial about his lounging space so definitive boundaries with any other animal is necessary. Your lap will always be his favorite spot. Stitch has learned to sit and shake for treats, but your dinner plate is fair game, too. Stitch will do well with some formal dog training. Bath time…well you might as well be in your swimsuit.

Junior is an energetic puppy looking for a new family. His first dad was in a serious car accident and is no longer able to care for him. Junior needs a family that will commit to working with him on obedience training and basic dog manners. He gets so excited when he meets someone he wants to jump up and give the person a big ol' kiss! If you are not prepared, he may knock you over. He loves playing with toys too! He is just full of personality but needs some guidance to be his best!

Sage needs an experienced adopter. She is a very sweet girl, she can get nippy at times, resource guards, is having some skin issues and needs a home with no other pets or kids in the home. She loves car rides, and she is the most affectionate and loving version of herself during them. She knows how to sit, is very young and treat motivated and would be happy to learn other things too. She is working on potty training but has been in a kennel most of her life, so she needs to be taught proper manners in a house. Sage is only 2 years old, she has already spent most of her life in a kennel, and is currently in boarding, please help us change that and give her the chance she always deserved by opening your hearts and home to adopting her.

Ruby? A small but mighty queen! She is dog selective, she does well with dogs her size and smaller but we have been working on her confidence with dogs slightly bigger and have made a lot of progress! She would do best in a home with older kids as she is a little timid. Don’t let her size fool you, she has a lot of pep in her step but will do anything for a treat! She is so sweet once you take the time for her to let her guard down.? Ruby will be 3 years old in December. She is a pit mix who weighs less than 40 lbs.
