Story
We are very sad to do this but are moving with our grand parents and he is not able to come with us. He is truly an amazing and loving dog and he absolutely loves kids he can be a little hyper at first but he calms down! He will be 4 in may. He would do best in a home with female dogs I believe. He has been around male dogs all his life but only them he doesn’t seem to fond of new males around.

Story
Prince, a regal and cool canine, embodies the best qualities of his namesake. He's just as content lounging in the sun, nibbling on blades of grass, as he is frolicking in a creek. Despite his initial shyness at the shelter, Prince lights up with adorable bursts of zoomies when he sees his people. This beefy boy has a weakness for cheeseburgers, evident by the drool-inducing enthusiasm he displays. But beyond his love for treats, Prince has a heart of gold. Volunteers note that he appreciates the simple pleasures in life and isn't burdened by wild puppy energy - he's just a big meatball who adores meatballs.Prince is eager to find his forever home where he can enjoy ample cuddle time. With a bit of patience and ongoing training, he'll blossom into the perfect companion. Prince is housebroken, crate trained, and seeks a household with individuals aged 16 and older. Potential adopters can bring their resident dogs for a meet and greet at the shelter to ensure compatibility. However, Prince isn't a fan of cats. If you're ready to welcome a furry family member with a royal name and a heart full of love, don't hesitate to meet Prince. He's ready to reign supreme in your heart and home!

Story
As soon as you meet him, it is quite easy to tell where his name came from. Happy is...happy! This spunky boy is always down for playtime. Happy loves toys and would be thrilled to have a box full of them in his new home. Happy has wonderful house manners- he's crate trained, potty trained and knows lots of fun tricks! Some of his tricks include sit, come, down, stay and leave it. Happy will happily work for food, so positive reinforcement training is perfect for him! Happy has lived with cats and dogs, but of course would like to meet any potential dog roommates here before going home. Happy is looking for a home where everyone is 14 and older so they are all on the same page with his training. If you have been needing some smiles, laughter and love in your life- Happy is your guy!

Story
Talk about bad luck. Zeus just can't seem to catch a break, no matter how hard he tries. Despite his troubles, he's a gem of a dog with a heart full of longing for a place to call home. So far, his journey has been marred by hardship, leaving him with a lingering fear of men that casts a shadow over his gentle soul.Zeus yearns for a safe haven where he can find peace and be the sole recipient of love and attention. It's not that he doesn't want to share; it's just that he's never had the chance to experience the warmth of a stable family environment. He's like a puzzle with missing pieces, desperately searching for someone patient enough to help him feel whole again. Though he may bark at first, it's merely a shield against the uncertainties of his past. Once you earn his trust, you'll discover a playful and loving pup buried beneath the fear and doubt. Zeus has shown remarkable progress with his training, a testament to his willingness to learn and adapt.Despite his rough start, Zeus still holds onto hope, dreaming of a forever home where he can finally belong. He's had his share of disappointments, but he's not giving up just yet. Zeus believes that a happy every after is out there for him. Could it be with you?

Story
Introducing Amazing Grace! Formerly known as Wild Thing, this delightful pup now embodies the grace and charm that her new name suggests. After some thoughtful consideration, we found that "Wild Thing" didn't quite capture her true essence. Instead, "Amazing Grace" reflects her gentle nature and the beauty she brings into every interaction.Amazing Grace is a staff and volunteer favorite. She loves to take a leisurely walk, then head off to the play yard for a rousing game of tug. In her foster home, Amazing Grace proved to be a well-mannered house guest. She's completely house-trained, appreciates her crate, and has been diligently working on her basic obedience skills. She also loves taking naps on a plush, soft bed. Her foster mom often described her as having sweet, expressive eyes that light up when spoken to. So, whether you're looking for a listening ear after a long day or a companion for sharing silly stories, Amazing Grace is all ears!As our longest-standing resident, a fact that puzzles us all, she simply requires a bit of grace. Could you be the one to extend it to her? Amazing Grace would truly thrive in a cat-free environment and alongside family members aged 16 and older. Adopt Amazing Grace and open your home to welcome this majestic queen, where she'll undoubtedly charm her way into your heart!
