Story
Ramsey, my loyal companion, is a well-mannered 7-year-old German Shepherd Pit Bull mix. He was given to me 5 years ago by a family who couldn't provide him with the care and attention he deserved. Since then, I've had the pleasure of showering him with love and care. Ramsey is a well-behaved dog who responds well to commands and has mastered several tricks, including sitting, pawing, lying down, rolling over, and giving high fives. However, he may not be suitable for households with other pets. Ramsey is better suited for families with older children, and he is both potty trained and crate trained.

Story
*Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.* Dillard has been waiting over 3 years for a home of his very own. He is affectionate, loving, and would be a great companion for anyone needing a little joy in their life. He loves to snuggle, watch tv, and eat popcorn but he also enjoys a good walk on a sunny day.   Dillard is a 5 year old pitbull terrier mix. He is not cat friendly. He is crate trained, housebroken, and walks great on a leash. Foster states he has a sweet personality and does well with people and medium/large dogs. His adoption fee has been lowered to $350 due to length of time in foster care (over 1 year).  Listed breed is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee - this also means we have no way of knowing what a puppy's adult size will be. This dog is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Barton's Barkers transport services upon adoption. Their adoption fee is $350 and includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, microchip and transport costs. Second Chances lists dogs as being available in White River Junction, VT because we transport our dogs to the area every 3rd week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.   ##1570904##

Story
Sally has become a healthy chunk of a pittie and enjoys car rides, cuddles on the couch and being with her Doberman besties. She is playful and goofy, showing a young age (Vets guessed 3 years old). Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm treated - she is ready for adoption just in time for Fall. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes fee by van transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Email with Questions or for Adoption Application - Adopt@CaffeinatedCanineRescueTx.org Adoption Application LINK: https://forms.gle/33ciYyXPTL18FfnV6 --------------------------------------------------- See more Photos, Videos and Updates on Social Media Facebook.com/CaffeinatedCanineRescueTX Instagram @CaffeinatedCanineRescue --------------------------------------------------- Found alone on a dock during a thunderstorm. She was underweight and her ribs could easily be seen. She was heartworm positive and her belly showed evidence of having had puppies in her past. Dogs we find abandoned in Texas are not broken, mean or undeserving, just homeless. Humans have failed them. Sally trusts people and knows sit, shake and down. Sally takes her treats and meals gently with no guarding. She is playing enthusiastically with two large Dobermans who have taught her that being extra affectionate or ‘velcro’ is ok and expected at this house.

Story
*Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.* Pepper is around 5 years old. She loves people and to go for rides in cars or on the gator. She is food/resource aggressive and will need to be an only dog. We also do not believe that she would do well with cats or small children. Listed breed is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee - this also means we have no way of knowing what a puppy'sadult size will be. This dog is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Barton's Barkers transport services upon adoption. Their adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, microchip and transport costs. Second Chances lists dogs as being available in White River Junction, VT because we transport our dogs to the area every 3rd week after they have been adopted.
