This is Brandy. She's a 3 year old medium size pit mix. She's extremely affectionate with people, especially women. She doesn't do well around cats and smaller animals and would be best suited in a home where she is the only dog and there are no small children. She is excellent on the leash, loves car rides and belly rubs and is high energy. ~~ Adoption donation $ 200. All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and spayed. Story
Trace was found 9/2/23. She had a collar on but no microchip. She is a very sweet, loving, and a gentle girl. She seemed to need some help so we took her in. We have animals of our own and are at our limit with pets at our rental. She has been to the vet and is in excellent health. She is a dog that will most definitely bring a smile with her playful manners. We hope to find her a great happy home!

Story
Billy Joe is our resident angel! He is such a gentle soul and any family would be lucky to welcome him into their home. Our sweetest boy is friendly, affectionate, and sweet-natured. Billy Joe walks very well on leash and isn't bothered by barking dogs or traffic along the street. He will keep walking at your pace like the goodest boii he is! However, he also enjoys a great ride in the car and quietly watches the world go by from the window. No backseat driving from this guy! On his Dog Day Out, Billy Joe didn't have any accidents in the home and was respectful of the furniture and children's belongings. We'd love for someone to see the loving, gentle dog that we see in Billy Joe. He is so deserving of a safe, caring home that will take care of him for the rest of his life! He'd be the absolute best companion. Heartworms are a preventable and treatable condition. Billy Joe is heartworm positive, but has begun his treatment and will go home with his remaining treatment at no cost to the adopter thanks to our Have-A-Heart program!

Story
Today's adoptable dogs are a bonded pair, Luke and Lizzie! Luke and Lizzie are boxers that are around 9 years old. They came to us after their previous owner encountered medical issues that left her unable to continue to care for them. They are both a bit timid at first which is to be expected after suddenly having to leave the home they came to know and love. Although they seem reserved, they both are very sweet and will make some lucky person very loyal companions. Lizzie is the larger of the two. Due to their situation and their obvious bond to each other, we are only adopting these two to a home together. They are house trained and love laying in their crate together, however they don't require a crate when left alone. Please don't feel sad for them just because they seem to have sad looks in their eyes. They are happy to know they will always have each other, and will be blessed with a new perfect forever home to call their own. If you are interested in adopting Luke and Lizzie, please complete our online application here: https://www.ruffloverescue.com/adoption ~~ Adoption donation $250 together. All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and altered. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Visit www.ruffloverescue.com to make this pup a member of your familySeptember 25, 2023, 12:22 pm
