Story
This four-pawed pop sensation is ready to headline your heart! Bruno is quiet, housebroken, and loves nothing more than spending time with people—he’ll happily follow you around, hang out at your feet, and shower you with gentle attention. His love for humans is undeniable…he’s a total crowd-pleaser! Soft toys? Not his jam—he’s all about “pulling the seams” and turning plush into confetti. He’s not a lap snuggler, but he enjoys his VIP seat at your feet, keeping an eye on the main act: you. Bruno loves walks—sidewalks are his stage, and grass is optional (only if it’s part of a potty break!). If you’re looking for a superstar companion who loves people, has a playful streak, and brings joy wherever he goes, Bruno Mars is ready to bring the hits, tail wags, and footloose fun straight to your home

We rescued this beautiful girl off the street a few weeks ago, she is almost the perfect dog. Huge cuddler and super loving, but she has dog aggression. She has attacked our other dog and we just cannot keep her and keep her and our other dog safe. She was very thin when we got her. She is gaining weight and has had a full exam. she is almost dog with her rounds of medicine to clear up an infection she had and has had all her shots. She really is a great dog and I want her to go to a loving home.

Story
Squirrel Lee is a highway rescue dog. She is very sweet and loves to cuddle with her humans. She likes to run around and play outside. She is learning fetch. She is doing well on a leash and likes to go for walks. Two of our dogs like to play with her, but she doesn't get along with one of the other dogs. Squirrel Lee doesn't bark often. We love our dogs, but having four is a lot. We want to find a good home where Squirrel can be loved and cared for.

Story
Tango is a 5-year-old, 61-pound blockheaded bundle of love whose big bowling-ball head and even bigger heart instantly win people over. From the moment he steps out of his kennel—calm, easy, and ready to go—it’s clear this boy is something special. Tango seems to be housetrained and goes potty right away when he gets outside. On leash, he starts off strong but settles into moderate pulling once he gets into his groove. He needs a little boost into the car and can be a bit anxious during rides, but he settles with gentle pets and treats. Once the door opens, he’s eager to hop out and get moving—so a tether is a must! During playtime, Tango loves to explore and run around. He’s a big fan of toys, though soft ones don’t last long with him—supervision is recommended! Food and treats are his greatest motivators (and weaknesses), so be prepared for some adorable begging. He knows “sit,” though his patience for holding it isn’t exactly his strong suit. Tango’s affectionate personality shines through in everything he does. He’s wiggly, loves attention, and is especially fond of face kisses—because of his enthusiasm, he’d do best in a home without small kids he could accidentally knock over. He’s also a total champ for his bath, showing just how good-natured he is. Tango is looking for a family who embraces his goofy charm, continues his training, and enjoys plenty of cuddles and adventures together. With his affectionate spirit and joyful energy, he’s ready to fill your home with love and laughter. As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. To meet your new pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!

Story
Meet Hot Chocolate! At just 2 years old and a solid 70 lbs, Hot Chocolate is a giant mug of sweetness wrapped in fur. This handsome boy bounces out of his kennel with a burst of energy, but hand him a ball or Frisbee and he settles right down once he gets the zoomies out. On leash, he’s a total gentleman, and off leash he’s a big old teddy bear who will happily melt right into your lap. Truly, this boy believes personal space is a myth. If he’s not touching you, he at least needs to see you. He just loves his people that much. Hot Chocolate is toy- and treat-motivated, great with kids, and full of affection—though families with very small children may want to keep an eye out only because he doesn’t quite understand how big he is when he gets excited. He doesn’t seem to have a prey drive on walks, and he’s shown positive, friendly body language around other dogs. He’s also an opportunistic snacker, so don’t leave your dinner unattended—if he can reach it, he’ll gladly help himself. If you’re looking for a lovable, goofy, oversized cuddle bug who wants to be your shadow and your best friend, Hot Chocolate is your guy. He’s a big lovebug with an even bigger heart, and he’s ready to sweeten someone’s life forever. As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.
