Story
We got Nyla in 2019. She has never been a house dog but is crate trained. She loves to play and run around. Within the last 4.5 yrs that we have had her, she has no history of bites. We are starting to travel a lot and the kids are getting older with more responsibilities and we just want her to go to a family that will be able to spend more time with her and show her the love that she deserves. We do love her and will miss her but she would benefit more from a family that has the time and patience.

Story
Quavo seems like a very happy dog.  This 8 year old boy was adopted in 2016 but ended up back at the shelter as a stray this past September.  He seems great with other dogs, friendly with people, and has a very gentle personality.  Plus he smiles a lot!  Quavo is really a great dog. ##1838602##

Story
Percy is awesome. My son has had him since he was 11. Since he is going to college Percy will be left alone more frequently as I work all the time. I have never had any issues with leaving him by himself… however I can’t give him the attention he deserves or needs alone. I would like for him to be with a true dog lover as I don't want him to go with someone who just wants a dog . He needs a forever home. He is a sweet boy and shows so much love.

Story
Dog Day Out, 5/13/24:This sweet girl was a joy! She not only sat perfectly for the car ride but was more than eager to explore! Don’t let her age fool you--she has a lot of pep in her step and definitely leads the way with a wagging tail! She loves treats and may know the `paw` command a little. When we rested she even laid down a bit and rolled over for a belly rub. Pandora has a lot of life to share!Dog Day Out notes, 5/10/24:Pandora went to the Haw River Community Park for a nice stroll and squirrel watching. She then had a nice cool car ride and got part of a sandwich from Starbucks. She was perfect in the car and is just the sweetest!Pandora:- Enjoys meeting new people- Is loving and affectionate- Walks well on leash (No or low amount of pulling)- Does well with the car ride- Is dog selectiveDog Day Out, 4/23/24:Pandora went on a walking loop around Elon’s campus along with me and a few of my friends. She sat up like a lady in the car ride and she was very good on a leash! After our walk, we chilled together where she showed us her tricks (sit, paw, etc.), and she rolled over for some cuddles and belly rubs. She fell asleep in the car on the way back she had such a good time! After a good walk, Pandora will sit by your side and accept any scratches. Pandora is very easy-going, loving, and a perfect fit for any family! Dog Day Out, 4/13/24:Pandora, Amy, and I had a big adventure along the Heartlleaf Loop trail … went around it twice… didn’t run into a soul! Pandora enjoyed sniffing and rooting and we even jogged some!! Pandora walks well on leash and loves an open car window with her face to the sun and the wind in her ears!Dog Day Out, 4/1/24:Our sweet girl Pandora had a great time at Lake McIntosh today!! Along the trail she went squirrel hunting and the couple of times she spotted a squirrel, she about pulled me through the air! She loved being on that trail and we stopped in the Lake View gazebo and she enjoyed her water and treats… I love this precious girl…..Dog Day Out, 2/10/24:Pandora was very sweet and loved walking around Elon`s campus. She’s an older dog so she might need help getting into the car but her age doesn’t stop her any. She loves cuddling and is very sweet! Overall a great dog! She enjoyed meeting new people, is loving and affectionate, and walks well on leash. Pandora loves her toys and tennis balls. She does not care for other dogs and wi

Hello! Meet, Ivy, Athena, chance and Panda! We are all 8 weeks old, we have began our age appropriate shots, had 2 distemper vaccinations & vet visit been dewormed, and on heart worm preventive. You will be required to continue to get all four distemper vaccinations as well as spay/neuter. The puppies and their mother came from a Hoarding situation. Puppies have continued to progress. All have been coming outside and learning how to use bathroom outside. All are crate training with little accidents. A puppy is a big responsibility that requires a lot of attention. All are very sweet.

Story
These four pups were with a litter of 10 that apparently were left in someone’s yard. We have no information on the mother or dad. The Guilford County Animal Shelter proposed that they might be a boxer mix. Their suggested birthdate is 3/6/24. They have had their first two distemper shots and deworming. The adoption fee of $350 does cover their spay/neuter and microchip. These pups have been around lots of children, cats and other dogs. Best guess, we believe they will end up in the 40-50 lb range. Given their young age, they are not yet housebroken so they will need an adopter prepared to take time to aid with this. They will need someone able to take them outside frequently during this process. A fenced yard and a playmate would be ideal. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an adoption application online through the link at the bottom of https://www.julietshouse.org/online-adoption-applications *All in our program are assumed to be mixed breed as none have had genetic testing. They are designated based on characteristics observed and noted.
