Story
Before her rescue, Ripley was a devoted mom to a litter of puppies. Now, it’s finally her turn to be pampered and spoiled. She loves people and greets everyone with tail wags and enthusiasm—sometimes a little too much excitement, but with some gentle reminders, she’s quick to learn. Ripley is a spirited, high-energy 3-year-old who’s ready to find a forever home that matches her zest for life! This athletic girl lives for movement—she loves to run, play, and will gleefully destroy any toy that crosses her path. She’s fantastic with other dogs and adores children, making her a great match for an active family with kids or playful pups. Ripley thrives in a home that’s always on the go—whether it’s hikes, runs, or backyard zoomies, she’s all in. A quiet, laid-back lifestyle just isn’t her thing; she’s looking for a household that’s as energetic as she is. Ripley is crate trained, housebroken, and knows basic commands like “sit.” She’s also super smart and very treat-motivated, so training is a breeze with the right snacks and consistency. Important note: Ripley cannot be in a home with cats or small animals. She has a strong prey drive and takes her “squirrel patrol” duties very seriously—your yard will be rodent-free! If your home is filled with energy, love, and adventure, Ripley just might be your perfect match. Ready to make her part of your pack? ##2223382##

Story
MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Zero is a 6-month-old male Pit Bull mix weighing about 35 pounds, and he is as gentle as they come. He does great with other dogs and kids and has not yet met cats. Zero is crate trained and doing well with potty training, especially when given frequent opportunities to go outside. Although Zero is still learning how to signal when he needs to go outside, with patience, reassurance, and regular potty breaks, he truly tries his best to keep the house clean and continues to improve every day. This boy is extremely affectionate but takes a minute or two to build trust. Once he feels safe, he becomes an absolute love bug who wants nothing more than to cuddle close—he’ll happily be your personal weighted blanket! He loves all toys and is highly food-motivated, which makes him eager and willing during training sessions. Zero does have a fear of bathrooms, likely from something in his past, but he is making progress and slowly learning how to be brave. He’s still learning his name and basic commands, but with treats involved, Zero is a quick and enthusiastic learner. Sweet, sensitive, and full of love, Zero is looking for a patient, kind home where he can continue building confidence and shower his people with affection. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training, & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. DOB: 5/29/2025 Adoption Fee: $500

He’s a very sweet boy who loves Benebones and stuffed toys and is always eager for attention. Don’t let his small stature fool you—Figgy can jump surprisingly high! One of Figgy’s favorite things is going for car rides… so much so that he’ll happily try to hop into any open car, whether it’s yours or not! Story
Adopted from a shelter he is estimated to be about 1-2, he’s not fixed but is up to date on all shots. He has gotten comfortable at home and has recently started showing more of an aggressive side with growling towards my 2 year old daughter so ideally unless he gets proper training I would say probably not good with kids. He does great on walks loves treats loves to cuddle. He’s a very handsome boy takes treats very gentle he just needs some training as he’s still a young pup. Loves to play with toys loves car rides! He’s definitely a boy that loves to be outside!

Story
💙 Hi friends, I’m Tippy—but you can just call me Tip! 🐾 I’m about 5 years old, sweet as sugar, and yes… I’m a tripod! 🐘 Let’s just get that out of the way. I may be missing a leg, but I don’t need a “pitty” party—I just need a forever home. 🏡 I can run, zoom, and play with the best of them. In fact, I’m lightning fast 💨 (I just don’t have a front brake… so I do a cute little tuck-and-roll stop. You’ll laugh every time, I promise 😉). I’m also a pitbull—not a Rottweiler, I know! 🙃 But Halloween’s coming and I can be whatever I want 🎃👻. Honestly, all I want to be is your best friend. Here’s what I bring to the table: ✨ Sweet, cuddly girl who lives for belly rubs ✨ Great with kids 🥰 ✨ A world-class singer—I howl along to sirens like an angel 😇 ✨ Loyal, goofy, and full of love So why am I looking for a new home if I’m this amazing? Well… my family has loved me since I was just 6 months old. This is very hard on them, but over time I stopped getting along with my dog sister. We tried “family counseling” (training), but we just couldn’t work it out. My family finally realized it isn’t fair to keep us separate all the time, and they made the heartbreaking decision to find me the perfect new home. 💔 My dream family? ❤️ 👉 A home where I can be your one-and-only pup—or maybe live with a calm, submissive doggy brother. 👉 A yard where I can zoom and show off my amazing speed. 👉 Someone who will laugh at my silly antics, sing along with me, and love me for exactly who I am. The only things I’m missing right now are a forever home… and well, that one leg. But trust me, you’ll never miss it when you see how full of love my heart is. 🐾 If you think I could be your girl, please apply at realrottweilerrescue.com and send us a message once you’re approved. 📍 Fostered in Gahanna, OH 💙 Waiting (impatiently!) for my forever family.

Story
BIG BIG HUGE NEWS!!! Bruno has been adopted!! Bruno is approximately 3-4 yrs old, Pit/Boxer mix, 54 lbs. This guy was abandoned in Avon Lake, no one claimed him or recognized him? ;-(. We had him neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and he tested negative for HW. He is a great dog! Bruno is housebroken and crate-trained. We named him Bruno because he has the moves like Bruno Mars HA!! He already seems to know his new name;-) He is very treat-motivated and knows his basic commands. He likes other dogs and loves to act like a HAM!! He has a BIG smile and awesome personality. He completed his "board and train" program and is ready for his forever home or temporary foster! He does have a lot of energy so will need an active owner. If you are interested in Bruno, please submit an online application, so we can learn a little about you to make sure Bruno would be a good match for you and your family. We do not do out of state adoptions, due to our trial adoption process. Adoption fee/donation is $ 100.00 If you have specific questions, please email the adoption coordinator at info@loveastraydog.com If you can't foster or adopt, please consider donating to help us with the board and train expenses and medical expenses. You can mail your donation to: Love-A-Stray, P.O. Box 125, Attn: Bruno, Avon Lake, OH 44012 or visit www.loveastraydog.com for credit card/PayPal information, adoption application, available dogs and upcoming events. Thank you!
