Story
MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Ozzie is a 7-year-old, 60-pound Pit mix with the sweetest heart and the softest soul. This handsome boy is crate trained, potty trained, and gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids — truly the full package! He’s currently working on his leash manners and already knows a few great commands like sit, down, and stay. While toys aren’t really his thing yet, he’s definitely intrigued by the sound of a good squeaker. Ozzie is a love bug through and through, happiest when he’s close to his people — he’d love nothing more than to be your shadow (and he’s happy to share his love with a family of any size!). The first part of Ozzie’s life wasn’t what he deserved, as shown by a long scar down his spine and the way he occasionally ducks when a hand moves too quickly. But despite it all, his gentle, trusting nature shines through. He’s truly a picture of forgiveness and love. In his foster home, Ozzie has been an absolute dream guest — calm, affectionate, and endlessly sweet. He’s working on curbing his excitement when greeting people (sometimes he jumps or paws for attention), and he’s making amazing progress! Ozzie would thrive in a patient home where he can continue learning and feel safe, loved, and cherished every day. A home with someone who appreciates a super soft, living “weighted blanket” would be just perfect. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 7 years Adoption Fee: $250

MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Zero is a 6-month-old male Pit Bull mix weighing about 35 pounds, and he is as gentle as they come. He does great with other dogs and kids and has not yet met cats. Zero is crate trained and doing well with potty training, especially when given frequent opportunities to go outside. Although Zero is still learning how to signal when he needs to go outside, with patience, reassurance, and regular potty breaks, he truly tries his best to keep the house clean and continues to improve every day. This boy is extremely affectionate but takes a minute or two to build trust. Once he feels safe, he becomes an absolute love bug who wants nothing more than to cuddle close—he’ll happily be your personal weighted blanket! He loves all toys and is highly food-motivated, which makes him eager and willing during training sessions. Zero does have a fear of bathrooms, likely from something in his past, but he is making progress and slowly learning how to be brave. He’s still learning his name and basic commands, but with treats involved, Zero is a quick and enthusiastic learner. Sweet, sensitive, and full of love, Zero is looking for a patient, kind home where he can continue building confidence and shower his people with affection. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Yogi is a 2-year-old, 68-pound gentle giant with a heart of pure gold. He is a quiet, sensitive boy who’s happiest simply being near his people. He doesn’t ask for much—just a safe place to rest, a calm environment, and someone who understands that love can be quiet and steady. Because of past trauma, Yogi would prefer to be the only dog in his home. He’s not aggressive—he actually gets along with friendly dogs who visit—but sharing his space full-time is stressful for him. What he really needs is a home where he can feel secure and know he won’t have to compete for comfort or attention. Yogi is a sweet soul who doesn’t understand why he’s suddenly without a family after spending the first two years of his life in a home. He’s grieving, but still hopeful. His Christmas wish is simple: a forever family who will give him the love, patience, and stability he’s been missing. Yogi is potty trained, crate trained and does well on a leash. He enjoys the simple things in life — lounging in the sun, exploring the yard, and spending time with his doggy friends. Does this sound like he could be the perfect fit for you!? Apply today! Story
Meet Petey, a lovable mix of charm, strength, and playfulness! This handsome boy is all about adventure, whether it's a walk through the neighborhood or a breezy car ride with the wind in his fur. Petey's playful spirit lights up with tug-of-war games, window gazing, fetching his favorite Kong ball, or splashing around during bath time. He's a clever pup, already mastering sit and excited to learn even more! Petey's affectionate side shines as he curls up on your lap or politely asks for a play session during TV time. While he's still working on his manners around food, he's a well-mannered sleeper, resting peacefully in his cozy kitchen spot through the night. It is impossible not to smile and laugh with Petey’s adorable personality. Best of all, Petey is a natural swimmer and dock diver, with a true passion for the water. He'd be thrilled to join an active family that lets him enjoy regular swim time. If you're ready for a loyal, fun-loving companion who's eager to shower you with love, Petey is waiting to bring endless joy to your home! This dog is eligible for up to three in-home training sessions after adoption! These sessions are led by someone familiar with the dog’s training, personality, and needs. They’re a great way to ease the transition, answer questions, and help everyone start off on the right paw.

Story
They call me the Italian Stallion… or maybe I’m the Couch Cannoli? Either way, nice to meet you—I’m Gino! I’m a 2-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier, weighing in at 56 pounds of pure love and charm. I came in as a stray, and honestly, I can’t believe no one came to claim me—I mean, have you seen this face? I’m not just handsome, I’m also smart. I already know some commands, and I’m always eager to please. Oh, and despite my “medium” size, I’m a certified lap dog. If you’ve got a couch, I’ll be on it. If you’ve got a lap, I’ll be in it. They don’t call me the Couch Cannoli for nothin’. I might even do well with other dogs—just bring your pups by for a meet and greet. We’ll see if they can handle all this Italian charm. I’m on the hunt for my forever family—a home filled with love, cuddles, and maybe some adventures (but mostly cuddles). Could that be you? I’m ready to trade my stray days for a forever home filled with love and snuggles. I'm currently staying in foster. Please contact my consultant to meet me: text 440-506-3055. Let’s make this love story happen. – Gino 🐾

Story
Meet Dolly 🌸 She is a low-maintenance, easygoing girl who enjoys short walks, lounging in the sun, and relaxing in the grass. She loves affection and quiet companionship more than anything. She gets along with other animals as long as they give her space, she’d do best in a calm home with relaxed pets or as the only animal. Dolly is a gentle 9-year-old, 55-pound sweetheart who has overcome more hardship than any dog should. She spent the first part of her life chained to a tree in Indiana for three long years, used for breeding until she could no longer have puppies. When she was no longer wanted, she was left to live in a car in Ohio. 🌸Despite everything she’s been through, Dolly’s heart is pure gold. She’s now working on gaining back some healthy weight and learning what it feels like to be safe and loved. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and recently had a few growths removed, so she’s ready for her forever home. After everything she’s survived, Dolly truly deserves a peaceful, loving place to call home, one where she can finally just be loved. ❤️ Text to meet Dolly 🌸440.773.1707 / (216) 470-4322❤️

MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Meet Papa — a.k.a. Big Papa 2-year-old Bulldog mix, Professional Heartbreaker, Volunteer Favorite, Certified Loverboy! Ladies… brace yourselves. This handsome hunk is a BIG kisser, a world-class cuddler, and a smooth talker (well… tail-wagger) who absolutely thrives on female attention. If there’s a woman in the room, Papa will find her, charm her, kiss her, and make her feel like she’s the only person on Earth. It’s his gift. Papa’s hobbies include: -Being irresistible -Chewing bones like a champ -Performing intense “surgery” on unsuspecting stuffed toys -Playing tug like it’s a competitive sport -Collecting admirers everywhere he goes But don’t worry — this flirt has manners, too. He knows sit, keeps his crate spotless, and happily settles down after playtime. He pops right into his kennel like it’s no big deal because hey, even icons need their rest. Papa is dog-friendly, but cats? Absolutely not. The man has opinions, and his prey drive says “felines need not apply.” A fenced yard is recommended, because when Papa sees something exciting… well, he’s gonna go for it. Leash manners? He’s working on it. But Big Papa is super food- and praise-motivated, so with the right partner, he’ll improve quickly. Papa is fun, affectionate, wildly charming, and full of life. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, flirty stud who knows how to make you feel special…Come meet Big Papa. He’d love to kiss you hello.
