Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Zero is a 6-month-old male Pit Bull mix weighing about 35 pounds, and he is as gentle as they come. He does great with other dogs and kids and has not yet met cats. Zero is crate trained and doing well with potty training, especially when given frequent opportunities to go outside. Although Zero is still learning how to signal when he needs to go outside, with patience, reassurance, and regular potty breaks, he truly tries his best to keep the house clean and continues to improve every day. This boy is extremely affectionate but takes a minute or two to build trust. Once he feels safe, he becomes an absolute love bug who wants nothing more than to cuddle close—he’ll happily be your personal weighted blanket! He loves all toys and is highly food-motivated, which makes him eager and willing during training sessions. Zero does have a fear of bathrooms, likely from something in his past, but he is making progress and slowly learning how to be brave. He’s still learning his name and basic commands, but with treats involved, Zero is a quick and enthusiastic learner. Sweet, sensitive, and full of love, Zero is looking for a patient, kind home where he can continue building confidence and shower his people with affection. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. This super sweet boy came to the rescue extremely emaciated, and because of that past, he can be a little protective over his food. With a consistent routine and respectful handling, he does just fine—and he always takes treats gently like a total gentleman. Kyro gets along great with other dogs and enjoys making canine friends. He’s crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and loves settling in with a good bone after a walk. Fair warning: stuffed toys and blankets don’t stand a chance—Kyro considers them his personal shredding projects 😄. He can be a bit vocal and tends to jump up when he’s excited, but he’s actively working on keeping all four paws on the floor and is eager to learn. Because of his enthusiastic greetings, Kyro would likely do best in a home with older kids. Kyro hasn’t met cats yet, so his feelings there are still a mystery. What we do know is that he’s an affectionate, loving boy who’s ready to trade his rough start for a forever home full of love, structure, and chew toys. They call me the Italian Stallion… or maybe I’m the Couch Cannoli? Either way, nice to meet you—I’m Gino! I’m a 2-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier, weighing in at 56 pounds of pure love and charm. I came in as a stray, and honestly, I can’t believe no one came to claim me—I mean, have you seen this face? I’m not just handsome, I’m also smart. I already know some commands, and I’m always eager to please. Oh, and despite my “medium” size, I’m a certified lap dog. If you’ve got a couch, I’ll be on it. If you’ve got a lap, I’ll be in it. They don’t call me the Couch Cannoli for nothin’. I might even do well with other dogs—just bring your pups by for a meet and greet. We’ll see if they can handle all this Italian charm.
