Story
Meet Hera, the delightful seven-year-old gal who steals hearts wherever she goes. This charming lady weighs in at a cozy 50 pounds and boasts a beautiful mixed-breed heritage that adds an extra layer of uniqueness to her already captivating personality.
Hera is the epitome of a well-mannered pooch, having mastered both house and crate training. With her medium to low energy levels, she strikes the perfect balance between playfulness and tranquility, making her an ideal companion for individuals or families seeking a furry friend to share life's adventures with.
One of Hera's favorite activities is indulging in a good chew session with her beloved bones and toys. Whether it's a squeaky plush toy or a hearty bone to gnaw on, Hera knows how to make the most of her downtime. She'll also happily curl up next to you for belly rubs and a snooze.
When it comes to leash manners, Hera is a shining star. She walks with grace and poise, making strolls around the neighborhood an absolute pleasure. Her leash etiquette is a testament to her eagerness to please and her natural intelligence.
Hera is happy to share her home with other dogs! Fostered alongside both male and female dogs, she embraces the joy of canine camaraderie wholeheartedly. Hera particularly enjoys romping and playing with dogs her size and larger, relishing every moment of shared fun and frolic.
Hera does have allergies that require daily medication. However, with proper care and attention, she continues to live life to the fullest, undeterred by any obstacles in her path.
In essence, Hera is more than just a dog; she's a loyal friend, a cherished family member, and a beacon of love and companionship. With her gentle demeanor, playful spirit, and unwavering devotion, she's sure to bring boundless joy and laughter into the lives of those lucky enough to call her their own.
Hera is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $275.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
