Please share this amazing boy with all your friends and help him find his forever home. Mac is a smart boy with a loving, playful personality...and the softest belly i have ever had the honor pet. He'd really love a family of homebodies because he'd rather not be alone....ever. But if you have to leave him, he does have a Fort Knox strong crate to keep him safe. Looking for a couch potato dog, well Mac is for you! He does love to sleep on the couch but also loves to play with the fosters dog. He listens well when he is off leash in the backyard. He also gets excited to go on the 2 mile walk with his foster mom and walks well on leash. He loves his foster mom and likes to follow her around. He is also very smart, he has started learning when his foster mom is getting ready to leave and will go to his crate ? He is house trained and doesn’t chew on anything that isn’t his toys. He does have some separation anxiety but has already started doing much better now that he is in a foster home and has a routine. He also is on medicine at least for now to help and has a durable crate as we work on his separation anxiety. Lux is a super happy, energetic pup! He loves to play with just about any type of toy and wants nothing more than to spend time with his people. Lux is crate trained and sleeps quietly in his crate at night. He is just about house trained too but may need a little time to get it completely figured out in a new place. Lux would do best in a home with no other pets and no children as he still has an excess of puppy energy and is working on his manners. Lux has been trained to walk politely on a leash and he can do "sit" like a champ! He is still perfecting a few other commands and working on his impulse control. Lux will come with one free professional training session to teach you what he knows! Lux does sometimes struggle with meeting new people, so introductions should be done slowly, or simply crate him when visitors will be stopping by. Lux is a regular hiker at the Cincinnati Nature Center. Honey Bunches of Oats is a 3 year old short but stout brindle pittie mix, who has finally had her last litter of puppies. She unfortunately was heart worm positive when she came in but has finished the worst part of the treatment. Honey Bunches of Oats is a simple girl, she actually prefers to be a loner, she is picky about her dog friends but loves her humans, if you have another dog a meet and greet is a must. Although she loves humans, she might be best with older kids since she does play nibble and some times jumps (but she is trying really hard not to). Honey Bunches of Oats is house and crate trained but again prefers to be with her humans getting belly rubs. Since Honey Bunches of Oats is particular about her dog friends, Jeff the trainer at WMK9-Well Mannered K9, has suggested a special way handle her on a leash around other dogs, which he has offered 1 free training session. Hilda is sweet and funny and such a lover!! She has never been around small kids so older kids to no kids would be best. Hilda gets very anxious around other dogs and can be very reactive so her best home would have her be your one and only doggo so she doesn't have to share her love with anyone. She can be quirky meeting new people so it's best to meet outside with treats so she know she doesn't have to protect anyone! We have been working with a trainer to help her be her best self!!
