Meet Rosie! She is a super sweet girl with a ton of energy! Rosie loves to be outside and would make a great hiking or adventure buddy. She loves treats and very food motivated to perform my tricks. She already knows commands such as sit and wait, but she would love on-going training and enrichment. Rosie does well with other dogs but is food reactive towards them and would need to be fed separately from any other dogs in the home. We are not sure how she would do with cats. So the name Archer brings to mind several things- say I am shooting arrows of love...looking for my family :) Or I am "Archer" the cartoon investigator guy- spies and espionage, all while wearing a handsome trench coat :) Yes that is who I identify with :) I am ARCHER, the super sleuth who will steal your heart while you gaze at my picture :) I am smart and very very happy. I am also deaf so I want to put that out there right here. I am deaf but I listen with my heart! And i am so so happy to be alive and NOT tied to a tree! Yup, YOU heard that right... My buddy Armstrong and I were found tied to a tree by our "owners" and left without shade/water or food.... the POPO saved us :) So, here we are, hanging with the rescue peeps and LOVING our new life... EXCEPT we just want real homes! I was diagnosed with heart worms when found but have completed my treatment, and am ready for adoption and transport to my FUREVER FAMILY!!! :) And my rescue peeps WILL MISS ME!! So i am a smart and active and respectful and loving and AVAILABLE :) ADOPT ME!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Hi there!!!! The name`s Ace! I`m a spry, happy-go-lucky 1-year-old with LOADS of energy. My dream is to be a track star and win the gold medal- I`ve got big dreams! But, realistically, I would also love being a running buddy for my future humans. After a good run, I would love to play tug of war with my favorite toys, and maybe a bit of fetch too. Then we can do a training session. And THEN we can go on a hike- okay, am I exhausting you? Sorry, I`m just SO excited to make friends and do so many fun activities with you! When I do eventually exhaust all my energy, I do love curling up in my comfy bed and getting pets from my humans. I love treats too, especially peanut butter!I have lived with kids and done well. I have not lived with cats or other dogs. I like to play in group play with my other friends here at the SPCA Cincinnati. I am housebroken and can hold my potty for 8-12 hours at the maximum. I know some basic commands such as `sit` and `stay`, but I can be a stubborn and energetic guy, so sometimes I won`t always listen! When she`s not tearing across the yard, you can find her engaged in her favorite quirky hobby: chewing on and carrying around large rocks. After a long day of play, Ava transforms into a world-class snuggler and is happiest when cuddling up close. Ava is a sunshine dog through and through; she loves warm weather and avoids the cold. You`ll definitely want to bring her inside when the dark clouds roll in, as she absolutely hates getting rained on! Ava has some basic training, but may need a refresher after her time in the shelter and entering a new home. She is eager to please and has a lot of energy to spend!
