Story
Hades is a very sweet very loyal dog. He is almost 9 years old but still acts like a puppy, I have had him since he was 8 weeks old. He was attacked by a dog around 4 years old and ever since then he is extremely aggressive and reactive with other animals. He has had a few incidents with other dogs, it is to the point I cant walk him and he uses a separate entrance and muzzle at the vet to avoid any more incidents. I am going through a separation and unfortunately unable to keep him due to moving. He loves to cuddle, he will lay in bed or on the couch with you all day. He loves to swim and play fetch. He needs a home with absolutely no other animals, no young kids, an owner who understands his very specific needs and a very secure fenced yard. He is not a dog that can be taken on trips or into public places but he is an amazing dog that I love very much and I want him to be able to enjoy the rest of his years in a loving safe environment.

Story
Mia is as sweet and loving as she looks, and she knows how to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Whether that’s a nap in the sun, a soft bed (pillow please!), or a chance to lean against a trusted human, she never seems bored with quality chill time. Mia is a lover of leisure but NOT a lazy dog. When she first came to the rescue she was excited go outside but very fearful away from the house, even in quiet neighborhoods. We are so proud of how much she has grown! Mia is now confident on her walks and is great on a leash. She practices being calm in different environments daily and is doing really well in guided sessions that help her harness her excitement. Mia’s loving spirit makes her quick to warm up to humans and an experienced attentive owner will find she is very easy to read. Mia loves children but is still learning how to control her nervous energy. She would do better in a home with older children who can understand boundaries and can participant in showing her leadership and safety. She’s very interested in other dogs but needs extra time acclimating to a new space before starting slow introductions. She would also do well as the only dog as it would allow her to get the training focus she needs. Mia’s growth has proven what an amazing dog she is and how much potential she still has to show. A forever family dedicated to helping her practice and build on her skills will be rewarded with a very loyal, intelligent, active and, of course, snuggly dog.

Story
My name is Alicia, and my foster saved me from being euthanized in a CA kill shelter. I am a 9 year old pittie, utd on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, loving, cuddly, and friendly to humans and have been around kids 10 and up but I am dog selective. I do the cutest trick, I will bring you the handle to my lead when I'm ready to go out to potty. My foster mommy has 4 doggies of her own, so cannot keep me since I have to stay in a bdrm away from the 2 dogs I don't get along with. I have chased her chickens but getting better about it. I need to be the only doggie in the home. My mommy is trying to integrate me into her pack, but would feel better if I could be with a family that would give me all their love so I can return it in kind!
