Story
I adopted Rhody in 2019. During the pandemic I lost my job and took her on the road with me to visit relatives across the country. Somewhere along the way she started getting very protective and reactive. I just had a baby and she is scaring me with her behavior towards my son. Trying to keep her away from him is breaking my heart. She needs attention and love and a friend. She is a great dog, 6 years old, very loving, playful, cuddly, energetic, uses dog speech buttons, knows all the basic commands, all the basic tricks, plus "kiss", "hug", "whisper", and "go find..." She is emotionally in tune to her person and will come cuddle/lick your face if you're crying or will stand in front of the screen if the news is stressing you out. If she had it her way she would play fetch all day long then cuddle under the comforter with you all night. She is food and toy aggressive to kids, cats, and dogs. She needs a one person household. Someone who will take her hiking, fetch, cuddle and repeat.

Size

Details
Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
She is a goofball with a big heart she will go everywhere with you with a smile on her face! She loves people and being with her person always, she would need to be an only dog because I noticed she is aggressive with other dogs. She has some type of skin issue which needs looked at but other than that she easy going! Shes kennel trained as well, she is only 4 so she is still hyper so keep that in mind, I think she would do best with a home that she is the only pet in because she hates sharing attention even for a second.

Story
We got Remy in 2022 at the SWHS and he's been a great addition to our family. In 2024 we had a surprise pregnancy and we're no longer able to keep up with his needs. He's a good good boy who needs someone to take him on walks and adventures and give him lots of scratches on his booty. He wants to be wherever you are so he can sit at your feet and hang out with you. He is good with patient cats that endure being sniffed. He's good around kids but will run past them and knock them over on accident. He's played with dogs before and we even fostered another male dog for a few months which he tolerated but he didn't enjoy it. He might get a long with a gentle female dog. If you apply to adopt then I'll text you a full detailed description of everything I can think of that you'd need to know before adopting him!

Story
Ginger has been our family dog for 4 years we’ve had he since she was 8 weeks old. she is friendly and very active. She comes from a family that has children ranging from 8-18 she. Because she’s a pit she can sometimes scare people because she loves to jump on people. She has never bitten anyone. Due to our family separating we have to let her go. We would like for her to find a new loving home so that she can receive the love and care she deserves.

Story
My name is Alicia, and my foster saved me from being euthanized in a CA kill shelter. I am a 9 year old pittie, utd on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, loving, cuddly, and friendly to humans and have been around kids 10 and up but I am dog selective. I do the cutest trick, I will bring you the handle to my lead when I'm ready to go out to potty. My foster mommy has 4 doggies of her own, so cannot keep me since I have to stay in a bdrm away from the 2 dogs I don't get along with. I have chased her chickens but getting better about it. I need to be the only doggie in the home. My mommy is trying to integrate me into her pack, but would feel better if I could be with a family that would give me all their love so I can return it in kind!
