Story
Benny was rescued in Texas and has adapted really well to being the best boy. He is the sweetest pit Bull mix you’ll meet. He loves people and loves to cuddle and play. He is 4.5-5 years old and is house trained. He’s really smart. Due to a new career shift that requires traveling for weeks at a time, Benny’s mom has made the heartbreaking decision to try and give him a better life by rehoming him with someone who can really take care of him (and she is very open to an open adoption!). He is aggressive with other dogs and very territorial. He needs someone with a yard, no other pets (at first), and dedicated to getting him better behaviorally trained. His behavior is not why he is getting rehomed — it is not his fault. Please help him find a real forever home. With rehoming, Benny needs to take his things! you will get the following: - two beds - food and water tray - water dispenser - food to last 2+ weeks - plenty of toys and treats.

Pit Bull Terrier + Whippet Mix 5 years old Male 51 pounds Kids · 12+ Dogs · Yes Cats · Dog savvy cats Well, hello there! Bowie Butt Sniffer the III here to congratulate you on your very fine decision to search out such a fine young chap as myself. Well, friends, I must say I’m having loads of fun running and playing with all the other doggies here, but let me be honest, I want out! Sure, this shelter business is a real blast, but see, a kid like me is more of a family man. I believe a loveless life is no life at all...In other words I have a big heart and no one to share it with…I’m a sweet fella and a real loyal fella but I can be quite uneasy at first and like to take my time trusting new folks. But have no doubt, I am a happy boy who is loving, devoted and eager to please once I feel comfortable in my surroundings.I am really BFF material. Plus I’m a handsome little bugger, already crate trained and housebroken. Good with other dogs, dog-savvy cats and respectful kids 12+. So why not give your new BFF Bowie here a chance? My adoption fee is $200 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

American Staffordshire Terrier 7 years old Female 60 pounds Kids · 6+ Dogs · Dog selective Cats · No Do you think I have “the look”? You know, so that I might set the canine modeling world on fire! I am also looking into design; my love line of fashion comes pret-a-porter, and I think it will look fabulous on you! Nothing beats a cozy sweater if you ask me. I do need an agent to help me get discovered—is that something that would interest you? You have seen enough episodes of America’s Next Top Model to give me some pointers, right? I’m on the search for only the best home, and it must come equipped with lots of snuggles. I am well on my way to becoming a doggy supermodel—I prefer to be the only dog and if I am going to be around other pups I do need very well managed, very slow intros. I absolutely adore calm children who know how to treat me with respect, but kitty cats best get out of my shot! You can even put a spotlight on my crate training, housebreaking, and obedience skills, and you’ll see that they are flawless. With your help and commitment, I know I can rise to icon status! Then won’t you feel pretty cool having an internationally published pup on the end of your leash? Let’s work to make both our dreams come true! My adoption fee is $180 and includes spay, microchip & registration, 1 month pet health insurance for Oregon residents, reduced-cost training class, free vet exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Story
Pit Bull Terrier 3 years old Male 40 pounds Kids · 8+ Dogs · Dog selective Cats · No What My Friends at The Asher House Say About Me: I’m fairly low-key and prefer calm, relaxing activities. I might take some time to warm up, but I’m all about snuggling and being close to my favorite people. I enjoy playtime but am happiest when I’m curled up next to you. I’m a good match for a family with sturdy kids 8+. The Type of Home I’m Looking For: I can be selective with my canine friends so doing slow and proper introductions can set us up for success. I respond well to gentle, positive reinforcement. I’m a quick learner when the approach is kind and encouraging. No kitty cats or small animals. My adoption fee is $240 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
Pit Bull Terrier + Labrador Mix 2 1/2 years old Female 58 pounds Kids · 6+ Dogs · Yes Cats · Dog savvy cats What My Friends Say About Me: I’m a gentle girl with a heart full of sweetness! I’m pretty timid at first, but that just means I like to take my time letting people into my heart. With a little patience and kindness, I’ll slowly open up and show you just how affectionate I can be! I absolutely adore other dogs! I thrive in their company and love to play and run around with my furry friends. The Type of Home I’m Looking For: I haven’t had much experience with cats, but with slow and proper introductions, I might be okay. I would do best with children over the age of 6 who can understand my gentle nature and give me the space I need. I could really benefit from some positive reinforcement training to help build my confidence. I’m a quick learner, especially when treats are involved, so let’s make learning fun! My adoption fee is $240 and includes spay, microchip & registration, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.
