Story
Bailey is a beautiful, sensitive girl. At just 2.5 years old, she’s already endured more than most dogs should—but despite her rough start in life, she’s still willing to trust and love again. What she needs now is a gentle, patient human to help her continue healing and growing.  Bailey thrives in a calm environment with someone who understands that love takes time. She may be shy at first, but once she feels safe, she’ll show you just how sweet and loyal she really is. She does love being outdoors and having access to a yard, but she’s also quite the little escape artist. Bailey has been known to hop fences, so secure fencing is a must. Bailey loves to play with dog friends but would do best as the only dog in the home for now. Bailey would thrive in a home with: - A gentle, understanding person or family - A calm environment (no young children, please) - A securely fenced yard Bailey isn’t just looking for a home—she’s looking for her person. Someone who sees her potential, honors her past, and is ready to offer the steady love she’s been waiting for. If you think you could be Bailey’s safe place, we’d love to hear from you. Story
Marius is a 2 year old brindle and black pitbull. 🐶 Marius (a.k.a. Ducky) Hi! My name’s Marius, but everyone calls me Ducky 🦆💛. I’m a gentle, sweet boy who loves people and other dogs. At first, I can be a little shy — I just need a moment to be sure you’re kind — but once I trust you, I’m all love and tail wags. I’m crate trained, pretty good on the leash, and I’ve got the sweetest personality. The only thing you should know is that I can be a bit of an escape artist if I get nervous — I’ve been known to wiggle my way out of a kennel — so I’ll need a secure yard and patient humans who will help me feel safe. With time and love, I’ll blossom into your loyal, goofy best friend. 🐾

Beautiful, gentle, and sweet! Jade is everything you’d hope to find in a best friend. She was an owner surrender with heartbreaking notes that tell you just how wonderful she is: “Sweet girl! Likes treats. Prefers being outdoors, loves the water, very friendly, doesn’t bark at strangers, and does well with kids.” Jade has beautiful coloring and a calm, loving nature that shines through even in the shelter environment. She’s currently doubled in her kennel due to overcrowding, and despite it all, she remains friendly and hopeful for someone to come for her

Story
Nimbus is currently being held at a board and train facility where he works on his manners and obedience. He is an amazing dog but has a lot of energy and would do best in a home that can accommodate his continue training. This handsome boy might be named after a rain cloud, but he's here to bring nothing but sunshine and snuggles into your life. Watch out for those soulful eyes he uses them expertly to beg for more affection and, let's be honest, more treats.🥰 ‼️Note: Nimbus has been evaluated by a professional trainer while at the shelter and may not respond the same way to other individuals under different circumstances, below is her assessment. [complete evaluation in pics] Trainer Evaluation ⬇️ Trainer assessments are sponsored by your donations 👉🏼 https://givebutter.com/turbofund 🐾Kennel Presence: Nimbus was a bit hesitant at first but warmed up beautifully with some treats. He was unsure of the leash but was able to be leashed with a little patience. Once leashed, I had to coax Nimbus to get him to come out of the kennel area with me. ✋🏼Touch: Nimbus demanded attention and affection. He presented as a typical cuddly pit bull who was not satisfied until all three of us were petting him. He based in our attention and could not get enough of it. 🐶Dog to Dog: We tested Nimbus with a female rottweiller mix Dixie and male Great Pyrenees mix Scorpio. Nimbus was very excited to meet Dixie and wanted to run up to her to play. He was a bit rude in how he wanted to approach Dixie but responded well to some guidance. They were both pretty excited to meet each other and likely would have enjoyed a play group if staffing and time had allowed. With Scorpio, Nimbus was more subdued to match Scorpio's energy. He gave a brief butt sniff and then moved along. Later, he tried another quick approach to sniff again and was a bit frustrated by the leash. Satisfied with another sniff, Nimbus had no concerns moving around behind Scorpio to check out some other scents. Overall, Nimbus seems like a playful boy who would do best with similarly playful or at least tolerant dog companions. Slow introductions are always recommended when bringing home a new shelter dog and should be done over the course of weeks (not days). Introducing new dogs in a shared home together over the course of several weeks can give the shelter dog a chance to decompress and feel safe, and the resident dog a chance to acclimate to the presence of a new roommate.

Story
I'm Roobie, I'm a happy 8 year old clown full of lightning fast zoomies and those classic bull terrier spins. Life excites me. I know usual commands (sit, stay, down, come, leave it, and more). Teach me new ones, I like treats. Walkies are great! But not necessary. I swim great! Mom says I'm a swell companion in a woodshop. I get along with the my extended dog family. Is someone at the door? I sound tough so you feel safe but I'm not a real barker. I'm a princess, loving my sweaters, soft dog beds, watching TV, and companionship. I understand if you have to go to work all day, I'll be cool by myself no problem, but I'll be so happy when you get home! I love my family and they love me (since I was 1 y/o) but I need to adopt a new family because my human has a disability and my spins occasionally knock into her but her disability is worsening kinda fast now. I'm a good girl. I'd do well in a loving active house, with or without another dog or with older kids that won't fall.
