Hello! I’m Sabrina, a lively five-year-old pitbull and blue heeler mix. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and I’m currently thriving in my foster home, soaking up new experiences like a sponge! I’m friendly with both cats and dogs, as long as we have the right introductions. You can’t miss my charming smile and my adorable blocky head! My favorite activities include evening strolls, chasing after balls, enjoying car rides, snuggling up on the bed, and showering my humans with kisses. On the flip side, I’m not too keen on sharing my squeaky toys, taking medicine, or getting my nails trimmed, but I’m making progress and getting used to it all. I’ve mastered commands like sit, stay, leave it, no touch, down, off, shake, and up. I’m an energetic girl who also loves to cuddle and can stay calm in a crate or kennel, though I’d much rather be curled up on a big, fluffy blanket on the bed. Food and I are best friends and I’m learning to share my toys. I thrive on attention and am a quick learner, so I’m on the lookout for a forever home that will be patient and continue my training. Frankie is a 4 year old female pit mix and 55 lbs. She is a wonderful hiker and greets other dogs with respect. She gets along well with our relatives larger and smaller dogs. Frankie is crate trained and house trained. Initially, Frankie was good with our cats but now is lunging when they are near because she resource guards her treats and food. But she is generally ok with the cats if no treats are out. She doesn’t get the daily exercise she needs. I’m striving to improve that. She would thrive with an active family and would probably enjoy another dog companion. If you’re interested in giving her a loving home, please respond.

HI - I'M FLETCH! I was recently rescued from a scary California shelter in the nick of time. I became urgent because I simply had a cold. Now I'm on the mend, and am starting to decompress a bit. I'm just a lovable, dog-friendly pittie-mix puppy in need of a foster or forever home. I'm still a bit shy and scared but am starting to come out of my shell. I weigh 40-45 lbs currently, but am a growing boy. I have the most beautiful brindle-and-white coat. Can you foster or adopt me?

I was given up by my owners (for no fault of my own), and now am looking for new people to love me! I came from a home with another dog. I absolutely love human attention and affection, and would be great for someone who works from home. I can jump pretty high and would make a great agility dog. I love, love, love to cuddle, and will give kisses. I also love to chase tennis balls, and then tear them apart! I would do well with an active person or family with older kids. I'm a small 14-year-old sweet blue-and-white Pit Bull Terrier, in need of a foster or forever home.I have been waiting far too long for someone to choose me, and given my age, I'm hoping my person or people come along soon. I'm a loving girl who would do well in a quiet home and neighborhood where I can be loved and showered with attention and affection. I make a great snuggler! I have tested well with some large dogs but not others, so would do best in a home as an only dog or with a submissive male. And I do well with kids over 5, too. I am not good with little dogs, however -- no clue about cats.. Per my current caretaker, I am in good health, though I do have some arthritis, so I take some inexpensive supplements. Can you foster or adopt me? I weigh only 44 lbs.

HI - I'M SMILEY! I certainly live up to my name because I love to smile (just not always for the camera)! I'm a 4-1/2-year-old happy, handsome and stocky male Pit Bull Terrier. I'm all muscle! I was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter, after I had been there for 5 whole months! During that time, I had multiple kennel mates. At the shelter, I had regular play dates with other pups, and was even kenneled with a couple of huskies. Since exiting the shelter, though, we've determined I may be best as an only dog or maybe with a submissive female. I weigh 50-55 lbs currently. Can you foster or adopt me?
