HI - I'M FLETCH! I was recently rescued from a scary California shelter in the nick of time. I became urgent because I simply had a cold. Now I'm on the mend, and am starting to decompress a bit. I'm just a lovable, dog-friendly pittie-mix puppy in need of a foster or forever home. I'm still a bit shy and scared but am starting to come out of my shell. I weigh 40-45 lbs currently, but am a growing boy. I have the most beautiful brindle-and-white coat. Can you foster or adopt me?

I was given up by my owners (for no fault of my own), and now am looking for new people to love me! I came from a home with another dog. I absolutely love human attention and affection, and would be great for someone who works from home. I can jump pretty high and would make a great agility dog. I love, love, love to cuddle, and will give kisses. I also love to chase tennis balls, and then tear them apart! I would do well with an active person or family with older kids. I understand I'm a big boy and not for everyone, but I have a lot of love to give and will make a wonderful companion. I am a sweet soul, always eager to please my person or people. I have been good with kids in the past and non-destructive, making me a wonderful addition to families with older children (due to my size). I get along well with some dogs, but am a big boy so need a strong and experienced owner. Born in a shelter and later dumped by his people, I know the value of a loving home. I'm a small 14-year-old sweet blue-and-white Pit Bull Terrier, in need of a foster or forever home.I have been waiting far too long for someone to choose me, and given my age, I'm hoping my person or people come along soon. I'm a loving girl who would do well in a quiet home and neighborhood where I can be loved and showered with attention and affection. I make a great snuggler! I have tested well with some large dogs but not others, so would do best in a home as an only dog or with a submissive male. And I do well with kids over 5, too. I am not good with little dogs, however -- no clue about cats.. Per my current caretaker, I am in good health, though I do have some arthritis, so I take some inexpensive supplements. Can you foster or adopt me? I weigh only 44 lbs.

HI - I'M BENNO! Did anyone say "handsome"? I'm a gorgeous black-and-white Pit Bull Terrier in need of a foster or forever home. I was put on the "last call" list at a scary shelter and thank goodness I was rescued! I'm a happy guy with a wonderful smile - based on my teeth I could even be younger than 3 years old, which is what the shelter said. I was impound there after being found as a stray - imagine that? Anyhow, I'm a great dog. I will sit and stare at you all day long, and I have been very non-reactive to other big dogs around me. We're not sure how I am with little dogs or cats. I would love a new home where I can grow old with my person or people and shower them with love and affection. I weigh 58 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

I was rescued from a California shelter awhile back and now am in Southern Washington. Back in the day, I was a shelter favorite and helped the staff in the office. I also take treats gently. I have done well with other dogs in the past, but can be selective. I would probably do well with a calm dog. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM TOMMY, a handsome 7-year-old blue Pit Bull Terrier who has waited much too long for a home. Tommy was rescued from a shelter awhile back and was skin and bones - now he's filled out and is about 75 pounds! While he's tested OK with some dogs, he would do best as the only dog in a home. He's very loyal to his person or people, and once he warms up to you, you will be bonded. He loves to play fetch, go for walks and just hang out and watch TV. We'd love Tommy to find a new home in the new year. Please email for an application.
