Story
Daisy is a sweet, super loving, cuddly 1.5 year old Pit Bull mix who is quite the velcro dog and always wants to be near you! She is a small statured girl at only 40lbs; the perfect size for cuddling! She has the most adorable signature move of leaping right into your arms when you ask her to! Daisy was a police confiscate case along with her brother who was missing his entire ear when found. They were both owned and kept in a small house with little to no access to the outdoors, food, water, and other basic needs. They very clearly did not have a good life as they were both severely malnourished and underweight, riddled with parasites, and absolutely covered in old scars and fresh scabs. Daisy's brother was pulled by another rescue, having landed on the euthanasia list before Daisy did. Only a few days after he was pulled, Daisy ended up on the euthanasia list as well and we knew we had to save her. She had such sad, pleading eyes and it was obvious that she was terrified and uncertain of what was happening at the shelter. Almost immediately when we brought her home, she opened up a little and just wanted to stay next to us. Daisy is fearful by nature since she hasn't had any kind of socialization or exposure to the world. She is getting more accustomed to experiencing new things every day, but she is still very cautious and nervous when faced with these new things. She quite literally clings to people she trusts as a form of comfort and relief. She has to be encouraged to step into the unknown and she is apprehensive at first, but slowly gets more comfortable with each passing moment. She is the sweetest girl and just wants to please you and be loved on! Daisy is not used to being around dogs other than her brother, so she tends to be defensive with them. She will need some rehabilitation work done in order to help her start trusting dogs and realize that not all dogs are scary or mean. While she can be fine around pretty neutral dogs, she does not understand body language and gets defensive if they make a move towards her that she is not expecting, such as a play bow. She would most likely do best in an only dog home, but proper socialization will still be very important in order for her to be a successful, confident, happy dog. Daisy is potty trained and is crate trained, though she does have some anxiety and is a bit of an escape artist. She appears to be more comfortable with women over men, but learns to trust fairly quickly. She absolutely loves kids and is super gentle with everyone! Daisy will need lots of patience and work, but in return she will give the best reward; her trust, love, and utmost loyalty. She is truly such a good and loving dog who deserves the best home! Daisy is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

Story
Ringo, named for his perfectly ring shaped tail, is a 1 year old Pit Bull/Basenji mix who is the goofiest little guy ever! He is an active, smart, and strong-willed boy who loves his people and will do just about anything for them! Ringo is a dog who needs a good amount of mental and physical stimulation in order to stay healthy, and he will need a devoted owner who understands his needs and quirks. Ringo was found as a stray severely underweight and brought to our local high kill shelter where he soon landed on the euthanasia list. Luckily, we were able to save him and his true personality quickly started to come through! Ringo is so spunky, opinionated, and incredibly loving with his people. He is super intelligent and catches onto what you want from him very quickly. Ringo has the cutest little quirk- he does what we call "air chompies" which is exactly what it sounds like! He is the sweetest boy who just wants to make his people happy and give all of his love! Ringo gets along with other dogs but prefers to be around less dominant dogs. He plays well with others and enjoys running around the yard and sunbathing. Ringo likes going on walks and adventures, but he also enjoys having some lazy days at home! He is very affectionate and loves to be loved on. He is very treat motivated which makes for easy training, especially with him also being so smart! Ringo is potty and crate trained, walks well on a leash, and has good house manners. He would thrive in just about any environment but would prefer to be the center of attention as the only dog in the home (he can get a little jealous). Ringo is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

Story
Jarvis: •Pit Bull/Husky mix •10 months old •45lbs •Neutered male •Good on the leash •Crate and potty trained •Dog and kid friendly, (unsure about cats) Jarvis is a cuddly, spunky, playful 10 month old Pit Bull/Husky mix who loves exploring, running around the yard, and playing with his doggy friends! He is such a good boy with the best personality packed into an adorable blue-eyed, black and white body! He's the perfect size, only weighing about 45lbs and he shouldn't be more than 55lbs fully grown. Jarvis was surrendered to our local high kill shelter by his family who no longer wanted him. They turned him in and requested that he be euthanized for having puppy energy, but luckily the shelter gives pups like him more time to find placement. We don't understand why his family would want to give him up; he is the sweetest little guy and isn't even too high energy! Jarvis was displaying behaviors of a bored, cooped up puppy at the shelter which along with his length of stay, eventually landed him on the euthanasia list. We were able to save this boy who has been nothing short of a totally affectionate goofball ever since! Jarvis loves to play with his doggy friends and listens very well to them when he starts to get a little too rough for their taste. He will easily redirect his attention to you if you call to him while he's playing. Jarvis listens well and is a very attentive boy! He loves meeting new friends and is always ready for the next adventure! He is good with other dogs, kids, and people of all kinds and is just all around a great dog. Jarvis is very easily trainable and is super smart. He is relatively medium energy and loves to just be around his people. He would likely do just fine around cats, but he has not been tested with them. Jarvis is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.
