Story
Introducing Jackson, or as we like to call him, Jack Teller - a true survivor who has overcome countless obstacles in his journey. Imagine finding him at an intersection, abandoned and scared, anxiously waiting for his owners to return. It breaks your heart, doesn't it? But don't worry, this story has a happy ending. Despite his rough start, Jack Teller has blossomed into a remarkable companion. Like any dog, he was initially wary of new faces, but it didn't take long for him to realize that there are kind-hearted souls out there who only want to shower him with love and affection. And boy, did he surprise us all! Jack Teller turned out to be the friendliest pup around, melting hearts left and right with his warm greetings and wagging tail. He's not just good with people, but dogs too - a true social butterfly! Like many of our Tx dogs he is being treated for heartworms. NOTHING to worry about as this is very common here.  We will provide the medication to continue his treatment.   If you're looking for a hiking buddy or simply a furry friend to join you on leisurely strolls, Jack Teller is your guy. He absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the great outdoors. Plus, he's a pro when it comes to crate training. Talk about an all-around good boy! To add Jackson to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##1714321##

Story
We rescued our Jethro at 10 weeks old on August 27th 2020. We worked from home and continued too until about 2023. When I started working out of the house he started to regress in his training. I tried to keep up on it. However, i ended up in a financial crisis and started to work 2 full time jobs. I no longer have the time he needs to have a good life. He can be aggressive at times, but that typically is with resource guarding and fence aggression. He has bit before about 2 years ago. He is a good dog, with his aggression I believe it can be trained out of him. He is a cuddle bug and is a loyal dog. He just needs a better owner then I can be for him. I love him with all my heart and I just need him to go to a good home with an active owner that can help him with his needs.

This handsome boy is Auggie, and he is a 57 pound pitbull mix who is sweet as can be. Auggie is about 5 years old. He is a ball of energy and very smart. His intelligence shines through in his quick learning and problem-solving abilities. He's energetic, always ready for a game of fetch or a brisk walk. Despite his zest for life, Auggie also knows when it's time to relax and enjoy quiet moments with his family. Auggie is a sensitive boy, and needs a calmer environment and a loving gentle hand. He can get nervous in loud environments. As a family dog, Auggie is loving and loyal, always eager to offer comfort and companionship. He is very loving and great around kids. He is great with other dogs, but may prefer to live as the only animal, or with calmer dogs. He would be the perfect addition to a family with an active outdoor lifestyle. Auggie is ready to find his forever family and join them for whatever adventures ahead.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Story
My name is Jessica. As you can see from my photo, I have stunning eyes and 3 strong legs! I like playing with other dogs and do not mind the cats here in my foster. I'm approximately 1 year old and have a good amount of energy, I love eating raw carrots, pepperoni sticks, and string cheese. I would be just fine as an only dog or have furry siblings. I am still a puppy and will need some grace and patience around small children as I have not been around them a lot and don't realize I can be a bit much sometimes. I would love if someone was home with me, but I am also content if you have to work outside of the home. I am potty trained and sleep in my crate at night. I would love for a best friend to take me on adventures and teach me about all of the good things in life, I deserve all of the things!! Dogs are not placed on a first-come first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal, applications may take up to 48 hours to complete. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Jessica's adoption fee is $200. Story
Gnorfbun is 60 lbs of pure, sweet, cinnamon bun lovin. Ok, so, she needs a diet and has allergies, but, this girl has all the love in the world to give. She loves going for walks as much as she loves snuggling. She's great with her 9-lb foster dog sibling and she's respectful of an older grouchy dog in the house. She wants to play with everyone, even the cats, even when they are not in agreement. But mostly, she ignores them and naps. She's been an instant favorite with kids and adults alike and we know you’ll find a soulmate in her. To meet Gnorfbun, please fill out an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Story
Meet Bella, the charming and spirited pup who's sure to steal your heart! With her love for playtime, especially with well-balanced rescue dogs, Bella would happily spend all day frolicking in the yard. This smart girl isn't shy about expressing herself, and while it took her a bit to warm up to us, we know she'll do the same with her new family. Once Bella recognizes you as a friend, she'll shower you with affection like no other. Bella does better with slow intro and well balance dogs.  Crate time is a breeze for Bella, though doggy beds don't stand a chance with her playful nature—they quickly become toys to shred! Highly motivated by treats, Bella responds well to training and is quite adept on a leash, although she can get easily distracted. A gentle leader might be the perfect tool to help her focus. Bella prefers the comfort of her own home and will need some encouragement to fully appreciate the joys of a walk. She tends to get anxious around other dogs during these outings, often voicing her excitement a bit too loudly. Remember, no rescue animal is perfect, but Bella's incredible qualities far outweigh her quirks. She's eager and ready to find her forever home with a family who understands and loves her just the way she is. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for. We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest & East Coast every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters, and we need more like them.  No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest, the East Coast or Canada we welcome you!  Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes, our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you can see our posts.  Unfortunately Meet & Greets has been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animal travel has been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and have been very successful.  Please look at our adopter’s reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue ##2149754##
