Hi! My name is Moolissa and I'm the sweetest, most beautiful girl. I am a 10ish year old pit bull but I have a lot of love and life left to give. I am a chill sort of gal but also love to go on walks and explore the yard. Then I love to snuggle on the couch and get scratches behind my ears and on my head. Don't tell anyone though, my absolute favorite are... butt scratches! I will go between your legs to get the optimal spot for that soo wonderful rump scratchies. I even purr like a kitty when that happens. I'm seriously hilarious. I get along well with all my foster doggie brothers and sisters, big and small. I haven't met any cats so I don't know how I would be with them yet. I do find my foster bunny brother really interesting. ;) I sure do love my people! Overall I'm just a big love who just makes people smile. Did i mention I'm housetrained and walk well on a leash? I'm pretty darn near perfect. I do need to continue being on a good healthy diet and a regular exercise regimen to get me back to a healthy weight. I'm such a good girl though, I don't complain at all. Although I am known to beg for what you're eating. I also have some allergies and will likely need to continue my daily meds to keep it in check. But I am so worth it! This big guy is Bowie (fka Gambit). He was adopted as a puppy 2 years ago, but he was returned to us a few months ago. Bowie started having seizures and his adopter was not able to deal with them. We have spent the past few months working out a medication protocol that controls Bowie's seizures and lets him lead a good quality of life. Bowie is a big sweetheart. He is in a foster home with several other dogs of all sizes and a group of kitties as well. Bowie does well with all of them! Bowie is a bit independent, he doesn't snuggle much, but he's happy to just hang out with you. Bowie loves napping in the grass, going on car rides, walks around the neighborhood, and curling up in his bed while binge watching Netflix with you. And he loves the occasional bite of pizza! Bowie will need a special home that can continue his medication and vet care and will be able help him deal with his seizures if they happen. This cutie is Henry the House Hippo! Henry is a fun-loving little guy that really enjoys playtime! His favorite toy is his stuffed dinosaur. He is starting to teethe and he likes to gnaw on his chewie bone. Henry loves to meet new people, he is outgoing and social. Henry has been learning some basic commands, but still has a ways to go. He is attending puppy training class weekly and full day puppy daycare every other week. Henry is working on his housebreaking. He understands that he should go potty when you take him outside but is still learning how to let us know when he needs to go out. He sleeps in an xpen with his bed and a puppy pad. He is also working on crate training. Henry likes other dogs, although as a puppy, he can be a bit annoying. However, he takes corrections from his adult “foster siblings” well and learns to be calmer. Henry has been around cats and understands that they have claws lol. Henry would do fine with older children that can help him learn and be respectful of him. This guy is ready to go on his next big adventure! Henry was born on Jan 1, 2024. We are rehoming our sweet pit bull at no fault of her own. She’s 6, lives with a 12 year old and a1 year old. The one year old will get in her face and pull at her and sometimes she isn’t feeling it so she will nip at him, never breaking skin. She’s great with all humans and bigger dogs ( she’s always lived with a Great Dane) or dogs her size but she does like to be the boss so it’s best she is placed with submissive dogs. She is up to date on all vaccinations and heart worm prevention. Fixed. Lives with a cat- very interested but never any issues. We rescued her from being euthanized in Memphis about four years ago, she had a broken femur at time of rescue that she had surgery on so she does favor that side. She also had heart-worms that she’s been completely cleared of from cardiology and has been on heartworm prevention since, she has no other medical issues. My husband is in school full time, I work 60 plus hours a week and we are expecting another baby in 2 months.

Hero is 9 years old and has been with me since he was 8 weeks old. He’s a very good house trained dog. He loves his toys. Going for walks and playing. Our issues. Hero has got such a strong bound with me that when I’m playing with my 3 year old son he gets jealous. He barks and cry’s making it very difficult to play. He doesn’t do it with anyone else but me. We also live in a small town house and work lots of hours. I’m hoping to find someone that has a yard and has time to play with him. Last my wife is from Ireland and we travel at least once a year for an extended time. He stays with my parents but they’re getting older and have a hard time managing him and their own dog. Hero gets along with their dog and most dogs I can take time to introduce him to. We have had issues with male dogs though. Usually a no go with all male dogs. Hero is a very loyal and sweet dog. I’m hoping to find him a loving home.

Sawyer is a “Pocket Bully” born in September 2018 with a cleft lip, cleft palate, and spina bifida. He is currently eating and drinking safely on his own and we don’t believe his cleft lip/palate will require any surgical intervention. Sawyer will always need a little extra supervision to make sure he doesn’t eat anything dangerous for him, and will never be able to safely eat wet or goopy foods like canned food, peanut butter, yogurt, or any other liquids other than water. But otherwise he is expected to live a long, healthy life. The spina bifida causes Sawyer to be incontinent and to have some weakness in his back legs. He can walk and get around very well, but he will be in diapers for the rest of his life. He is a very happy, spunky pup and is friendly with humans and other dogs. He needs a committed home willing to give him the extra care he needs to thrive. Sawyer has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is also micro chipped. This goofy meatball is Peanut Butter (PB to his friends). He is around 3 years old, just under 40 lbs. and came to us from an overcrowded local shelter. He wasn’t doing well in the shelter and needed surgery for a cherry eye and some training in how to be a good dog. BP has been staying with our friends over at B-Hyve K9, who are helping him get some training that he so desperately needs. So far, he’s doing very well with his training classes. PB will need to be an only pet. He is a very sweet boy, but he loves his humans and isn’t really willing to share. PB would do best in a home without a lot of activity and without small children (teenagers and older, please). He’s doing well with his house training, too. To make sure he’s as successful as he can be in his new home B-Hyve K9 has offered 6 lessons to his adoptive parents as a follow-up, to help his new family continue down the positive road he’s on. PB is quite the character and is looking for a quiet home with just one or two people who will give him the love, attention and training he needs to be the best boy he can be. We are looking for a family willing to continue his training with B-Hyve K9 and improve his quality of life. PB has had his cherry eye repaired, has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and he is also microchipped.
