Story
Mint was trapped outside with his siblings and made some socialization progress in foster care. Mint is taking his own pace in making friends with us but with the help of his kitty friends he has started to become more comfortable and curious! With continued socialization, we know Mint could blossom into a spoiled pet. We best believe Mint would do best in a home with no children and would have to have a feline companion(s) to show him the ropes. Mint is a young adult, neutered, UTD on vaccinations, FIV/FELV NEGATIVE and microchipped. If you are interested in Mint, please fill out a feline adoption application at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=28

Story
Lola recently moved to CT from California with her mom and cat-brother Tiger. The relocation to much smaller living quarters led to territorial issues. The two cats ended up not getting along, and Tiger became quite aggressive. Lola sustained and recovered from bite wounds that required vet care. The cats can no longer live together safely and she is being fostered at another location. Lola needs to be the only cat in preferably an adult and somewhat quiet home. She is an indoor only cat. Lola will need some adjustment time and will be pretty shy at first. Once she gets to know you, she loves being pet, brushed, and playing with toys. You will love her sweet purr! She is 10 years old, healthy, very calm, and low maintenance. We will provide her adopter with 1 month supply of food, treats, toys, brush, and litter box.

DAWN IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED! Dawn is a gorgeous Brownish/Silver tabby.  She was abandoned in a carrier behind PetSmart.  Her eye is cloudy and she has some sight loss in one eye, but she has full sight in her other eye. She is super friendly and snuggy and gets along with both dogs and other cats. She would make a great family kitty. She loves her people and loves to have a conversation with you.   She loves to be your lap puddle and would be perfect to keep you company. She has been spay/neutered, had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test. Her adoption fee of $295 includes the transport to CT.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring her up north to her adopted family. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net  Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer.
