Story
Eevee is around 10 months old, we trapped her when she was quite young but she still took some time to fully trust us. She started by following us around the room as we cleaned and would just kind of lurk about. Next she would sit next to us as we filled food bowls and talked to the group of kitties that would come up for pets every day. Now she paws at you expecting pets and affection, she is ok with being picked up as long as you are slow and gentle. Eevee is continuing her journey to being a lap kitty, she is looking for a patient family that will continue to let her work on her confidence. She will do best in a quieter home without young children. She has always had cat companions, and we feel her having an outgoing cat in her new home will benefit her greatly. She is a sweet and petite girl, she is affectionate once she feels comfortable and will make someone a great little companion kitty. **************** PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT Eevee ********************* Please copy and paste the following URL into your web browser for the adoption application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FPSL/Cat COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please note that our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them if adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved. We are USDA certified, and WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, Microchip, Mississippi Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you

Story
Mint was trapped outside with his siblings and made some socialization progress in foster care. Mint is taking his own pace in making friends with us but with the help of his kitty friends he has started to become more comfortable and curious! With continued socialization, we know Mint could blossom into a spoiled pet. We best believe Mint would do best in a home with no children and would have to have a feline companion(s) to show him the ropes. Mint is a young adult, neutered, UTD on vaccinations, FIV/FELV NEGATIVE and microchipped. If you are interested in Mint, please fill out a feline adoption application at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=28

Story
First born is a 4 month old short haired tabby kitten with a wild personality. He’s full of life and loves to play with people, his favorite things to do are either nap, meow and chirp for attention, give good morning kisses, and play with all sorts of toys. While he is playful, he can be mischievous. He can get into things he’s not supposed to, like wires and cables, scraps of dirt and junk, and he often hides in small places. Also, he is crate trained and litter trained, but be careful with what litter you use, as he most likely will try to eat the litter. This kitten is in an urgent need of a home, as we cannot afford any other pets and our landlord only allows a certain amount of pets.
