We would like you to meet Gabriella!   Gabriella is a beautiful 2 month old kitten looking for her forever home. Gabriella is friendly to everyone and she’s been around other cats and dogs. Gabriella would be fine in a home with kids as long as they are respectful.  As always we do not allow kittens to be adopted alone to prevent single kitten syndrome. Therefore there must be another young cat in the home or Gabriella must be adopted with another kitten.   To adopt Gabriella, please visit our website and fill out an application. astdogrescue.com ##2059528##

Story
We received this cat from a friend about 3 years ago after her original owner died. When we received her we had 1 dog and that was fine. Since then we have acquired 2 more cats (siblings). Initially it seemed fine, but over the past year she has grown more skid-dish. We have tried keeping them separate but it is quite challenging with kids and dogs too. We believe she may have a better quality of life in an home with less pets and less activity. She probably needs to be an only cat or with other cats that are less active.

Story
Tally Cheetah has energy for days and is truly as fast as a cheetah.  She hunts her little pink and purple mice toys like a Cheetah going for an antelope on the Serengeti!  Just don’t tell her it is not that serious. She loves to climb and explore on her climber too!  Tally will allow petting and being held but would much rather chase you around while you told a wand toy.  She loves chasing and wrestling with her siblings as well!   As a general rule, we recommend that young kittens only go in pairs or to households that already have another pet. Young kittens on their own, no matter how much attention they get from humans, usually get bored and tend to be more destructive.  They need another animal to help socialize them (to learn how to appropriately wrestle, boundaries, etc).  Most times having another cat is the best, though some may be okay with a gentle dog. You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page:  Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet. ##2188712##

Story
Debbie Thornberry is a love deep down but can act like a “I’m too cool for you" teen when you first meet her, just like the character in the cartoon.  She will sit back while her siblings act ridiculous chasing the wand toy and the look on her face says it all “I don’t know what’s wrong with you all”.  But just when she thinks no one is watching her starts in and then can’t help herself!  She also pretends to ignore you when you first start petting her, but after a minute or two she begins to melt in.  She is one that people need to take time to know but once you do she’s loyal and so affectionate.
