Story
Laila was found on the street alongside her brother. They are about one year old. They were spayed and neutered, micro chipped and checked for feline leukemia and aids. They don’t have any. Laila’s brother found a family to go to. Laila is a quiet and shy but not wary of people. She will need a loving, patient adapter. With time she would make a wonderful companion and make someone special very happy.

Story
Dora is a senior cat who has had more and more behavioral issues as he’s aged. Unfortunately he has feline stomatitis and I have been unable to get him the surgery he needs, and he was only on antibiotics for a bit. He is very food driven and WILL go after any food left anywhere but has trouble maintaining weight - he does not have hyperthyroidism. Unfortunately he has become too much for me to handle, I’ve loved him for 10 years but I am running out of patience and the funds to care for him appropriately and I know someone else can provide him a much better life for his remaining years. It breaks my heart to part from him but I think it’s for best. He loves warm spots and cuddling up to legs or pillows in bed. He also can be a bit vocal sometimes when he smells food! He responds to his name but can be a bit of a troublemaker. He has experience around other cats, but as he’s gotten older he seems to not enjoy playful cats and gets grumpy.

Story
Say hi to Elsa! She is a beautiful 1.5 year old girl who wants nothing more than to be loved. She adores cuddles and pets; in fact, if she could cuddle her favorite person 24/7, she’d be content. Sadly her Dad passed away and she was left all alone, but despite that, she is still so lovable, happy and ready to find her forever home. She loves everyone, even children. Her foster mom thinks Elsa would be fine with another cat, but dogs are not her bag. She will be ready for adoption the first week of February. Meet and greets are welcomed because her pictures do not do her justice. She is stunningly beautiful with a loving heart to match. She is purrrfect! Elsa was born around June 1, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Waterbury. She is fixed, has had her rabies and first distemper shots, is microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.January 21, 2026, 1:55 pm
