Story
Evie is a sweet kitty who loves snuggles and sitting with her person. She does have a bit of pet sensitivity and has given little bites (light) or hisses to let us know when she's had enough. New home may want to have kids old enough to understand when she needs some space. She wants to be near her people most of the time and loved to curl up on the foot of our bed. We got her from a friend's farm so not much is known about her medical history or how old she is but she seems pretty healthy and clean. We are sad to have to rehome her due to the allergies we have developed and the little one in our house who is bit too young to give her the space she needs, but we are hoping she can go to a loving home that has all the snuggles she needs. (I will be happy to send her with her litter box and any kitty supplies and toys we have)

Story
Toby arrived at Town and Country after being found in a trash bag with his two brothers. Toby is the cutest orange color and is the sweetest kitten! This boy was even loving while receiving a bath! Toby is just 12 weeks old! He is litter box trained, microchopped, FIV tested, neutured, and is now waiting to find his forver home! Kittens or cats CANNOT be declawed. We will gladly provide you with alternatives to this procedure. Kittens do better with another kitten to play with. This gives you a break and give them company when you’re not home. The adoption fee is $150 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. They will determine if you and/or your family are a fit and if so, provide instructions for completing the application.    After you have submitted an application and been approved, we will setup a “meet and greet” between you and the pet. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Humane Society and our mission. ##1817373##

Story
Ralph is a great cat. He is snuggly and playful when he gets comfortable, but he is a scaredy cat that will need time to adjust. We're having trouble with him peeing on the dog beds and any laundry left on the floor and our attempts to get this behavior to stop hasn't worked, so we are looking to re-home him. Maybe someone with more experience or fewer cats can correct this.

Story
We had Madeline for almost a year. She is a lap cat and likes occasional pets, except her stomach. She does not like to be held and carried. She is always in whatever room we go to, and sleeps next to us or on top of us every night. She is always waiting for us at the door when we get home. She purrs the instant we look at her. Unfortunately, Madeline does not get along with our two other bonded cats and is very aggressive towards them. She needs to be an only cat in a quiet home.

Story
Tucker is approximately 5 years old and is a very sweet playful boy. He has a sister (Tula) he’s lived with his whole life that I would love to see them go to a new home together, but I don’t think they have to be rehomed together if only one is a good fit for a family. He has done well with our dogs, has done well with kittens we’ve fostered in the past (with proper introduction) but does not do well with my older cat (which could be on her as she’s a cranky old lady). We recently had a baby and are expecting our second and both Tucker and his sister have struggled with a baby in the home. They started to become destructive, breaking into cabinets and chewing bottle parts, knocking bottles off top of fridge and breaking them, getting into any food left unattended. They’ve also acted aggressively towards our baby despite multiple attempts to properly introduce them. I feel they would be fine with older children but I worry as my baby gets older and more mobile things will get worse.
