You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! I am the sweetest little girl EVER!  I didn't have anyone love me and I found myself pregnant and alone. I was scared and I had no where to go. I had my babies alone under a deck :(  Finally someone saw me and my babies and called 2nd Chance, but unfortunately by then I had lost one of my babies :(  Now my 3 other little ones and me are safe in the arms of 2nd Chance. I'm spayed, housetrained, had my shots and am super sweet. I love kids but I am not fond of dogs. Due to her human mom recently being placed in a memory care facility, Daisy is in need of a loving new forever home.Daisy is a sweet 5-year-old cat with a gentle, sensitive nature. She can be shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience and understanding, she becomes a loving and loyal companion. One of her favorite things is being brushed, and she enjoys quiet moments spent with her favorite person.Because of her calm personality, Daisy would likely do best in a quiet home without small children, where she can feel safe and settle in at her own pace. Friendly and sweet, she's fiery when it comes to affection. You're going to love petting and snuggling this love bug. We're looking for an indoor only home (catios okay). Whether he's getting pets, enjoying a good brushing session, or playing with his favorite toys, Alfie is happiest when he's spending time with those he loves.Unlike some cats who take time to warm up, Alfie is quick to make friends and enjoys attention and affection.
