🎄 Meet Red Rider – A Little Christmas Miracle 🎄 On a cold day that felt straight out of a winter tale, a tiny orange-and-white kitten was heard crying for help from a pond. Cold, scared, and alone, this brave little soul refused to give up. And just in time, a kindhearted passerby heard his cries and knew she couldn’t leave him behind. She scooped him up, changing his story forever. That little kitten became Red Rider. When Red Rider arrived at rescue, he was a very sick boy — malnourished and loaded with parasites — but like any true Christmas miracle, love and care worked wonders. Thanks to a devoted foster and round-the-clock attention, Red Rider blossomed into the healthy, happy kitten he was always meant to be. Today, Red Rider is nothing short of magical. He’s sweet, affectionate, and full of joy. He loves to play, purrs like a tiny engine, and happily soaks up all the attention he can get. This courageous little guy has shown us just how much love can live in such a small package. Red Rider is now ready to find his forever family — the ones who will be his happily-ever-after. He still needs a few more vaccines and to be neutered, but don’t worry — that’s all covered by the rescue. We may never know how Red Rider ended up alone in a pond, but we do know this: he’s amazing, resilient, and has a very bright future ahead. He’s very much an independent toddler type — happy to explore, play, and observe the world on his own terms — but every day he’s showing more of his sweet personality as he comes out of his shell. Hopscotch enjoys playing with his foster siblings and would truly thrive in a home with another friendly kitty to show him the ropes and keep him company. Ever wondered why orange cats are without several brain cells? Well we have the answer! It’s because O Brother Where Art Thou stole every last one of them! Too smart to be tricked by treats with a heart set on exploration, Brother Where Art Thou is constantly trying to figure out the world around him through play. At 11 months old, he’s a jealous little man who will become very vocal if you give more attention to someone other than him. But that doesn’t mean he wants to be alone. He enjoys both other cats and finds dogs to be lovely playmates. When it’s time for a nap, you can scoop him up for some amazing snuggles. He might make a sound similar to a squeaky toy being squeezed, but worry not! He is perfectly fine. He’s just smart enough to be dramatic. He also tends to be quite skittish— but don’t be deceived, he’s not shy. He’s clever and clearly planning something mischievous.

I adopted Opal as a bonded pair with Onyx. I had a cat many years ago and was fine, but since getting Opal and Onyx, my allergies are getting worse. As soon as I get home from work I start wheezing. I really need to find a good home for these two. These two are wonderful pets. Both are calm but do have times when they like to chase each other around the apartment. They love exploring the garage and sitting on top of my car. I have absolutely everything you need for these two, from foo, dishes, litter box, cat tree, and lots of toys! I don't want any money just want these two to go to a good home. I am moving in the next couple of weeks and need to be sure these babies are taken care of.

Onyx is one of a bonded pair with Opal (black & white tuxedo-female) I adopted less than a year ago. Unfortunately my allergies are getting worse everyday. When I get home from work, I start wheezing and sniffling. These cats must go as a pair. They love to chase each other and play together. They love to explore, especially the garage when I get home from work. If I leave the window open in my car, they love to jump in and lay on the seats. They snuggle with each other and love to stare out the window. I'm not looking for money and have all the supplies you need including, food (wet and dry), treats, litter box, cat tree, toys, and water fountain.

Story
We got Toulouse when he was a kitten and he has been an indoor cat his whole life. He is about 10 lbs and is a beautiful cat. He is quite shy and independent, but loves to snuggle and purr with you on his own terms. We have made the extremely difficult decision to rehome him because he doesn't seem happy living with other cats and children. We think he would be best in a quiet home where he is the only animal. He is allergic to chicken, so we feed him a duck-only diet (he likely can tolerate pork and perhaps fish as well, we haven't tested that yet). He takes two pills daily to help him with his allergies.
