Story
Big Boy is a young, medium‑size mixed breed dog who originally came from a family home in Alabama. He has lived around teen-age children and adults and has a naturally gentle, friendly temperament. He is medium‑energy, enjoys companionship, and responds well to reassurance and calm environments. He has recently gone through a stressful situation, but despite everything, he remains sweet, affectionate, and eager for stability. He has not shown aggression toward people or other animals. He would do well in a home that can offer consistency, patience, and love as he settles in. Adjectives that describe him: gentle, friendly, loyal, responsive, affectionate, and resilient. He is looking for a safe, stable home where he can feel secure and become part of a loving family.

Story
When Kalea first came to us, she was heartbreakingly emaciated and covered in mange. Despite everything she’d been through, her sweet spirit never faded. With lots of love, good food, and care, she has blossomed into a healthy, beautiful little girl who is finally ready to find her forever home. Kalea is around 12 weeks old and is started on potty training, sleeps in her crate and goes in happily with a chew toy, and has even learned to sit thanks to her 13-year-old human foster sister. Like any puppy, Kalea is full of joy and curiosity. She loves playing with her doggy foster siblings, collecting toys, and soaking up all the affection she can get. We think she’ll likely be around 40-55lbs when she’s fully grown. A home with a fenced in yard would be best since leash walking is new and could set back potty training. Kalea has overcome so much in her short life. Now she’s looking for the one thing she’s never had—a family who will love her forever. Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! While we make our best guesses, we often don't know what breeds our kiddos are made of. We cannot guarantee our guesses will always be right but CAN guarantee they are 100% good dogs! Our adoption fee is $350. **We only adopt to families in/around Atlanta, Ga (about a 1-2 hour perimeter)** If you are interested in any of our dogs, please visit https://releashatlanta.com/adoptable-dogs.php to either view more of their profile or to apply to adopt! Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Meet Chop! Chop is the total package: sweet, goofy, affectionate, and always ready to make a new friend. After being left behind when his family was evicted, Chop spent several months in a shelter before joining a foster home. Why you'll love Chop: Approximately 4 years old 55 pounds and at a healthy weight Friendly with people and other dogs Gentle, easygoing temperament Crate trained Learns quickly and knows basic commands Loves affection and being close to his people Happy, social, and eager to please Chop is what we call a "Velcro dog"—he loves being part of whatever his humans are doing and is happiest when included in the action. Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.low-key couch potato Meet Vanilla — Looking for a Soft Couch & an Even Softer Heart.  If your perfect evening includes a comfy couch, a good movie, and a loyal companion curled up beside you, Vanilla may be your perfect match. This handsome 5-year-old, 50-pound sweetheart loves life's simple pleasures—leisurely walks, relaxing car rides, belly rubs, and plenty of cuddle time. Once you've earned his trust, Vanilla will happily become your shadow, always close and ready for snuggles. Vanilla's journey hasn't been easy. He arrived at the shelter underweight, sick, and in desperate need of care. Thanks to a devoted foster, he's made an incredible recovery and is healthy, happy, and ready for a fresh start. Vanilla can be shy at first, but with patience and kindness, his gentle personality shines. He's crate trained, housetrained, walks nicely on leash, and enjoys calm, respectful dogs after slow introductions. He'd do best in a peaceful home without cats and with adults or older, considerate children. Vanilla has already survived the hard part. Now he's simply looking for someone to give him the steady love he's always deserved. Could that someone be you?
