Story
Meet River Howdy! My name is River, and I’m a 4-month-old American Staffordshire/Bully mix pup all the way from Texas. I’ve been adjusting to life in Illinois with my foster family—and my littermate Rocki—ever since we arrived. My cutest feature? Definitely my resting puppy dog face and all my adorable wrinkles! I’m a calm, sweet-natured pup with just the right amount of playfulness. I already know how to sit, and I’m the best boy on walks—though sometimes I’ll sit or lie down mid-walk just to let you know I’m ready to head back! I’m still learning how to ask to go outside, but I’m doing well with crate training and sleep through the night like a champ. I love to roughhouse and play with Rocki, and I’m always ready for snuggles when playtime is over. I’ve had lots of social adventures already, from soccer games to ice cream trips and neighborhood strolls. I love kids, small dogs, big dogs—you name it. I'm friendly, gentle, and always up for meeting someone new. Even though I’m a Southern boy at heart, I’m ready to put down roots with a forever family of my own. If you’re looking for a mellow, loving, and loyal companion, I just might be your perfect match. Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). . It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed. An application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee adoption but does allow us to begin the review process. Story
Meet Birch – A Bouncy, Brindle Best Boy in the Making! Birch is a 6-month-old male bully mix (possibly with some American Staffordshire Terrier in the mix) who’s already stealing hearts with his caramel brindle coat, expressive eyes, and joyful spirit. Born on January 5th, 2025, Birch currently weighs about 40 pounds and is the perfect combination of playful energy and sweet snuggles. This pup is fantastic with humans of all ages and sizes. He loves meeting new people, adores kids, and is always up for a good cuddle or play session. Birch gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful pup buddy. He lives by the motto "play hard, nap hard"—you’ll find him romping around one minute and snoozing like a champ the next. Birch is crate trained and doing great with potty training, especially if his humans keep an eye out for his cues. He truly tries to be the best boy every single day. He’s also learning his leash manners and enjoys getting outside to explore the world. Like many puppies, Birch is: Loyal and affectionate – he forms strong bonds and loves being close to his people. Smart and eager to learn – he picks things up quickly and enjoys working for praise or treats. Confident and playful – always ready for fun, whether it’s with toys, humans, or other pups. Birch is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find a forever home that can match his energy, continue his training, and shower him with love. Think Birch might be your new best friend? Come meet him and fall in love! Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). . Story
Meet Rocki Hi, my name is Rocki! I'm a 4-month-old brindle American Staffordshire/Bully mix who made my way from Texas to the Midwest with my brothers and sisters. I’ve been adjusting really well and am ready to find my forever family! I’m a tall, goofy, fun-loving pup with a gorgeous brindle coat and an even better personality. I absolutely love kids and being around people. One of my favorite things is being held like a baby—even though I’m already nearly 30 pounds! For my age, I’m pretty smart! I’ve already learned to sit on my own, and I’ll even sit patiently when my foster family puts on or takes off my collar for walks. I’m still working on potty training but making great progress every day. My best friend right now is my littermate, River, but I love meeting new people and dogs. I’ve been around adults, kids, and even gone to soccer games where I was a big hit! I also love riding in the car and going on adventures. While I adore my foster family and my brother, I can’t wait to find a forever home of my own—maybe with you. I promise to fill your days with laughter, cuddles, and unconditional love.

Story
Lacey Female - Spayed Weight: 40#’s Age: 8 months Medium Breed Terrier Mix We would like to formally introduce you to the sweetest little bundle of joy, Lacey. This inquisitive and happy go lucky girl is eagerly waiting to find her forever home and bring endless joy and happiness to her family. This delightful girl is 8 months old and brimming with energy and enthusiasm. With her silky caramel brown and white coat and those soulful eyes, she's a real head-turner. LACEY is the epitome of silliness and friendliness. She adores every human she comes across, and has a particular soft spot for belly rubs and ear scratches. She's a natural-born cuddler and will happily snuggle up to you on the couch after a long day, providing you with love and comfort. Lacey has been the perfect house guest since she arrived. She doesn’t chew on anything other than her dog toys and the occasional stick. Despite her young age she already knows the commands sit, down and leave it! She's a quick learner and would thrive in a home that can provide her with mental stimulation and positive reinforcement training. She is very food motivated which makes getting her attention for training much easier. This beautiful girl is potty trained but is still learning how to ask to be let outside when she has to go. We leave our back door open most days when we are home and she runs outside to potty whenever needed. We offer Lacey a crate that is left open or a cushy bed to sleep on in our mud room whenever we are gone during the day or at bedtime. She has caught on fast to our routine and doesn’t make a peep at night until we come down to let her out in the morning. Even then she just waits by the gate with full body wiggles to be let out. Leash training is going well!! We go on 45 minutes to one hour walks daily and she enjoys every minute of our adventures. She knows what the harness and leash are for and gets excited whenever she sees them. Do you like to have a co-pilot while you are out running errands? Well you are in luck!! This affectionate girl is also a dream in the car. She has been known to wrap her front paws around my arm and lay her head on my shoulder while enroute to our destination. Just be prepared to make a pit stop for coffee so she can get her own puppy latte while on the road. This little girl has a playful side that's sure to keep you entertained. Whether it's pouncing after her favorite toy after throwing it up in the air herself or zooming around the backyard with her foster sister, Lacey is always up for a fun activity. She would benefit from an active family who can take her on adventures, long walks, and maybe even teach her some fun tricks along the way. She would do well in a home with another dog who can match her playful energy. Lacey currently resides in a home with three dogs of different ages and sizes. She listens well to social cues from the other dogs and has adjusted amazingly to the pack. Lacey’s ideal home would be one where she can be surrounded by a loving family who can shower her with affection and provide her with the care she deserves. Due to her playful nature, we recommend no children under the age of 5 as she is known to get the butt scoot zoomies at full speed. If you're searching for a loyal, intelligent, and affectionate companion, look no further! This amazing girl is the perfect match for you! She's eagerly waiting to become a cherished member of your family and fill your life with boundless love and happiness. Our standard adoption fee is $375 if paid by cash or check, or $385 if paid by credit card (which includes a $10 processing fee). This fee covers spay/neuter surgery when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, and microchipping. In order to be considered for adoption, we require a fully completed application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with your entire family. Please note that submitting an application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee approval—it simply allows us to begin the review process. Meet Raya! Raya is a 6-month-old Staffy mix with a heart full of love and a playful, curious nature. She’s sweet, a little reserved at first, but once she warms up, she’s incredibly affectionate and loyal. Raya gets along great with dogs of all ages and sizes and enjoys their company during both playtime and quiet moments. She loves soft toys, exploring the yard, and going on gentle adventures. When it’s time to unwind, Raya is happiest curled up next to her favorite person. Crate trained and making big strides with her potty training, Raya is well on her way to becoming a well-mannered companion. She’s doing great on leash walks—though she might pull a bit when excited—and is very treat motivated, which makes her a quick learner. She already knows how to sit and is eager to learn more. Raya eats two meals a day, enjoys treats in between, and thrives on affection and routine. Raya would do best in a home that offers gentle guidance, companionship, and plenty of love. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly, and loyal pup who’s growing more confident every day, Raya could be the perfect fit. Apply today to meet her! Quirky ears, heart-melting eyes, and endless love and kisses to offer - Peanut has it all and is just waiting for her fur-ever home where she can enjoy the security of being at home with her family! Peanut flourishes in a one-pup home where she can snuggle up with her people with her favorite chew. But rest assured -- when it’s time to get moving around the house, Peanut doesn’t want to miss any of the action! Peanut is crate-trained and potty-trained, when it’s time for her family to leave the house, will gladly trot into her crate, snuggle up with her blanket (and treat, of course), and patiently wait for their return. Coming back home is even sweeter because her family is greeted with the most adorable paw-taps and tail-wags as she waits to welcome them back. While Peanut loves the comfort of the indoors, she wastes no time letting her family know when she needs to go potty. Peanut may be a little timid to leave her home at first, but before long she just might beat you outside as soon as her leash is on as she loooooooves her outside sniffs! Peanut is adaptable to different outside environments, whether she’s lived in an apartment and goes on leash-walks or had a home with an open fenced-yard to herself to zoom around. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, affectionate, playful, intelligent, and, of course, food-loving addition to your family, look no further! This beautiful pup can’t wait to enrich the lives of those lucky enough to call themselves her family. Custom Disclaimer

Hi, I’m Rocky! I’m great with people of all ages and a total lap dog—I love snuggling up close. Car rides are one of my favorite things, and I’m crate-trained, always keeping my crate clean. I’m still working on my housetraining, but with a little patience, I’m sure I’ll get it down. I’d do best in a home without cats, as they’re just not my cup of tea. Although, I get along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion! Ready to take me home? I can’t wait to be your loyal companion!
