I’m Parker. I am around 1yo & 57lb, pitbull mix. I have this great solid black coat, and coal brown eyes, with just a few hints of white markings. What can I say? I'm a really handsome guy! I was found as a stray in the south and brought up north with the help of some great people who are helping me find my forever home. These nice people think I was probably abandoned because of the curvature of my back, however after a visit to a nice vet up here, and some x-rays, there appears to be nothing wrong with my back. I do have a luxating patella on one of my rear legs, and its suggested that I am kept on an inexpensive glucosamine supplement, but all in all, I was given a clean bill of health. When I get up from laying or sitting, I do tend to move a bit slowly, however that doesn’t stop me from running full out in the yard with my foster siblings! At first I was a little hesitant, but with the help of my foster family, I have learned love and received regular meals and lots of playtime. Overall it has been a great experience to get me ready for my forever home. I am still a puppy and haven't gotten a lot of training, so sometimes I do display some puppy behaviors like jumping or puppy biting. I hope my forever family will be committed to continuing training and socialization so I can grow into a well behaved, adult dog. I have been exposed to other dogs in my foster home as well as kids, but not cats. I would love a home with a fenced in yard for me to run around and play, but if you don't have a yard, and promise to get me a lot of exercise, that's ok.
