Duncan is a strikingly handsome American Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix with a sleek black coat and a heart full of enthusiasm! This large, high-energy puppy is full of love and excitement—he just needs the right home to help him reach his full potential. He’s still learning his manners, so he’s looking for an experienced dog handler who can provide him with structure and training. But don’t let his puppy antics fool you—Duncan is eager to learn and ready to soak up all the guidance and love his new family has to offer. He loves toys, thrives on playtime, and is always up for an adventure. Because of his size and energy, he’s best suited for an adult-only home where he can have the time and attention he needs to grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. If you’re ready for a fun-loving, loyal companion with endless potential, Duncan is waiting for you! Come meet him and see if you’re the perfect match! All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
