Meet Peach a 2 year old Pitbull/ mastiff mix. He is loving and wants to be in your lap all the time. Enjoys rawhide bones and all toys. Loves sleeping on the couch. He is crate trained and will be very easy to be house broken. He had surgery on both of his eyes due to cherry eyes and rolled eyelids. He is all better now. Enjoys food. Loves to dump his food on the floor out of the bowl and eat it. He does drool but its apart of his charm. Just keep a towel or rag near by. Please if you live in an apartment, make sure you have all authorization to have a dog and the breed in the complex

-Wendy is part of our Home for the Holidays adoption promotion, so her adoption fee is 50% off!-Sit, down and paw, come…can I learn more? I am an active girl and I enjoy a nice game of fetch. When someone is getting ready to take me out, I can sometimes get excited but then calm down as they put the harness on me. Going for a long walk is fun. I also love water so bath time is always a special moment with staff. They can pick me up, even carry me like a big baby. I enjoy all this extra attention, you know the massage and shampooing. While not mandatory, a fenced-in yard would be awesome so I can run around. I like to keep fit so an active person would be awesome but most importantly, I want to be loved. Guess what, some may have thought I was not good with other dogs but let me tell you something, I am actually doing pretty well some of the doggies in play groups here. We are just having fun like kids would at recess. (Of course, this still means that I may not like every single dog) So if you have a dog, why don’t you bring him in so we can meet and see how we may do together.

I love big toys, those big balls that you can push around or the lighter ones that you can bump up in their air with your nose. I’ve also perfectioned not only the tail wag but the whole body wave because I’m always so happy when I get loving from people. Now, no worries, I could definitely sleep in too. After all, some days, you just have to take it slow. Guess what, some may have thought I was not good with other dogs but let me tell you something, I am actually doing pretty well some of the doggies in play groups here. We are just having fun like kids would at recess. (Of course, this still means that I may not like every single dog) So if you have a dog, why don’t you bring him in so we can meet and see how we may do together.

-Hank is part of our Home for the Holidays adoption promotion, so his adoption fee is 50% off!- I was removed from a neglect situation with another dog so yes life wasn’t really fun and there was obviously not much love. Here I can be a little timid at first but as one of the Canine Care staff members described me, once I am out, I am like a big baby, climbing into your lap and soaking up all the loving and attention I am getting. They are also introducing me to toys and they look fun though I’m still not quite sure what to do with them. I’ll chase them and then run back to the dog walker for some more petting. Guess what, some may have thought I was not good with other dogs but let me tell you something, I am actually doing pretty well some of the doggies in play groups here. We are just having fun like kids would at recess. (Of course, this still means that I may not like every single dog) So if you have a dog, why don’t you bring him in so we can meet and see how we may do together.

Story
Royal has some medical issues so is available as a permanent foster dog (Save-A-Pet would continue to pay and coordinate for his medical condition). He can of course also be adopted. Things I love: people, tennis balls, running outside, blankets, rolling in the grass, treats and more. I’m a very handsome guy, always ready to flash you one of my “signature” smiles. While I may be a little shy meeting some new people, a couple of treats is all it takes to become great friends. I am also pretty smart, and ready to learn more. I am very affectionate and a real cuddler. At night, I sleep deeply and snore loudly I’m told. This just means that I had an active day filled with a lot of loving and play time.
