Prince is waiting patiently for his new best friend. Could it be you? He is very loyal and affectionate. He will always greet you with a wagging tail and a smile. A friendly and playful pup who is looking for his forever home. He was born on 10/20/2024 and is a mixed breed of unknown origin. He is great with other dogs and loves children. He is kennel-trained and is working hard on his house training skills. He is up to date on his vaccines and neutered. His previous owners had to give him up because they were moving and could not take him with them. He is a super fun-loving little guy who weighs 41 lbs and is full-grown. He enjoys running, fetching, and cuddling. He is very smart and eager to please. He would make a wonderful addition to any family. Story
’m Boomer and I am American Staffordshire and Pit Bull Terrier mix and just as handsome as they come. I am 2 years old and called a “Pocket Pittie” because I only weigh 47lbs. I am just perfect to do everything with, go hiking, walking, maybe even running if you teach me once I learn to run alongside you, and gosh, I would love to explore the water everywhere because that is just so much fun. I get really excited and jumpy when meeting new people and dogs so I am best with older kids. I love to play with other dogs of all sizes but dogs my own size are best. I have heard some say I am “prey driven” when talking about cats and squirrels. I don’t know what it means I just know I don’t like cats. My foster mom and I have trained hard. Besides being crate trained and house broken, I know how to sit, go in my crate, come out, wait and stay (for just a few seconds because I get so excited), look at me, come here (while in the yard or in the house). I learn quickly because I like yummy treats and even more, squeaky toys. I am already micro-chipped , lost my jewels (whatever that means) and got all my vaccines and on heartworm, flea and tick preventives. Foster mom says whoever is lucky enough to bring me home is going to love me to pieces because I am so handsome and such a good boy.

Story
Meet Roxie, a 6 year old American Staffordshire Terrier/Hound Mix. She weighs about 55 lbs. She is blind and diabetic. Roxie was relinquished to the shelter due to her medical needs. She is a sweet dog and has been an absolute champ about taken her medications and daily injections. SO, please don’t let this frighten or deter you from wanting to meet her. PWD will help continue to assist her adoptive family with her medical needs if needed. Roxie was fostered by an incredible person and she has a lot of great things to say about this girl: Roxie is a sweetheart searching for her forever home! She is a happy dog, and is almost always seen wagging her tail. Roxie is always happiest when she is with you, and is up for any activity -- whether she is your sidekick while doing yard work, your sous chef while cooking, or your snuggle buddy while watching tv. She is very loving, and isn't shy about asking for belly rubs. Her favorite pastime is cuddling on the couch (or attempting to sit in your lap!). Roxie is intelligent and easily trained to the rules of your home (e.g, learning what furniture she's allowed to sit on, wiping paws before coming inside when it's muddy out, etc.). She enjoys going for walks, and does very well on a leash. She is also great riding in the car. Roxie is playful, and gets bursts of energy that result in her scooting around the room or yard. She enjoys chewing on a bone, but beware -- she destroys soft toys within a matter of minutes! While Roxie is blind, you would never know it! She quickly learns and navigates her surroundings, and is very alert, relying heavily on her hearing and sense of smell. Roxie also has diabetes and requires 2x daily insulin shots as well as regular blood glucose testing; however, these activities couldn't be easier! She lies on her back during blood testing so you can easily access her paws for the test, and her insulin shot is simple to administer while she's eating her meals. Roxie is a rockstar when it comes to maintaining her health, and her tail continues to wag the whole time! Roxie loves people, and has yet to meet a stranger! She enjoys being the center of attention among her human family, and but she can be possessive with toys and food around other dogs -- for these reasons, she is looking for a home where she can be the only pet. However, Roxie is all the dog you'll ever need, and the best friend anyone could ask for! We feel should would do best as an only dog. Please consider Roxie, she would be a great companion and friend.

Story
Chopper is a 3 year old American Staffy, he’s from a litter my moms’ dogs had. He is very active and does well taking commands like sit, lay down, and shake. He loves to cuddle and lay down in bed. Ideally he would need to be in a home with someone with lots of experience handling dogs and where he is the only pet. He is very protective and does well as a natural alarm system. No rehoming fee because I’m not interested in money. I just want to make sure that he goes to a home with someone that can provide the attention and love he needs. He is a great dog, super loving, very attentive, and deserves to be in a home where he can be free and happy.

Story
Nash is searching for her forever home! NASH'S STORY: Nash is a sweet pup with an energetic personality! She loves to be very close to you, especially laying with her head on your lap. With high-energy and a high play drive, Nash is looking for a home where she can exercise daily and roam about. Born during COVID, Nash is dog reactive with sight and sound though lived with an exuberantly playful Irish Wolfhound from birth to 2 years and currently resides with a docile, senior Chihuahua. Things to know about Nash's training, are that she was trained as a puppy on all of her basic commands, then worked with a behavioral trainer for over a year on her reactiveness. Most recently, she attended a high-distraction Board & Train Program with an e-collar training methodology. Once in her home, will routinely need to continue working on her response to reactive occurrences. Nash is also housebroken, leash-trained, and crate-trained - even though she stays out while her Owners are away. She's lived with and is good with young kids. Having also lived with cats, she is largely very sweet with them but does try to play sometimes. Ask us to tell you more about Nash!
