Currently located in: Brooklyn Park, MD 🧡Meet Trixie!🧡 Trixie is the life of the party! She is a firecracker of fun that thrives on playtime, snuggles, and exploring. Being the smart, friendly pup she just naturally is, Trixie gets along with everyone and learns VERY fast. She is dog, cat, and kid friendly (she even spent a week as a special guest at a kids summer camp!) Trixie is just an all-around sweet (yet extremely entertaining) pup! She is still working on all the basics of puppyhood (but making amazing progress!) Trixie will need patient, present adopters as she grows up into the best dog ever. If you're ready to add a spark of love and fun to your life- look no further! Trixie is waiting for you! Included Veterinary Care: Trixie is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and receiving heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives along with routine parasite treatments. Her adoption fee covers future spay through one of our veterinary partners.

Story
Stella is looking for their forever home! Thanks to an incredible donor, Stella's adoption fee is waived for her forever home! Please ask your Adoption Counselor for more information! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Stella is one of the most low maintenance fosters I've ever had the pleasure of helping find a forever home. From being a shy, scared, and timid girl to being confident, secure, and well-mannered, Stella has grown so much in the 2+ years I've known her; although the vacuum cleaner is still enemy #1. Stella has lived in all types of settings: in a busy city, in an apartment, on a quiet street, with dogs, with reactive dogs, and easily adapted to her home environment. She is crate trained and LOVES having a bed in her crate to curl up into a donut while you're at work. She knows every basic command like sit, down, touch, stay and is fully potty trained. Stella's favorite toy is a lambie, or something else that is tiny that she can carry around in her mouth. Once, she took care of an egg for 6 hours before it broke, she's the most gentle creature. Stella is made of love and French fries. There's nothing more that she wants than to be inside with her people, cuddled up on the couch with a show, or playing sous chef in a calm kitchen. She takes awhile to warm up to her people, but with some french fires (her favorite is Burger King), some space, and a bit of patience, she'll love you unconditionally and will likely knock you over from wagging her tail and wiggling so hard with excitement every time she sees you. Although Stella is a perfect girl in the home, on leash, and with other dogs, she is scared of human strangers, especially masculine presenting people, and will need a strong advocate to help keep her safe. If you're looking for a great addition to your calm and cozy life with unconditional love to give, Stella is the gal for you. Stella would do best living with queer folks, a home without cis-gendered men, without cats, and without small children. ATTRIBUTES: Stella has lived in foster with other dogs, but can not go to a home with kids, cats, or cis-gendered men. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
Jordon is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Meet Jordon, a 50-pound adult dog whose hobbies include playtime, snuggles, and making new canine or people friends. His idea of a perfect day is playing and running around the yard with his foster siblings or you. If he could be in your skin with you, he would. For now, though, he'll settle for a good couch cuddle. His love language is physical touch, aka you picking up and holding all 50 pounds of him. He can be a bit clumsy at times, but that's simply part of his charm. Like the rest of us, Jordan can suffer from a bit of FOMO when he knows his favorite people are in the home, but he's in his crate. When you're away, however, he does much better in the crate, especially if it's sweetened with a bully stick or kong. Jordon would do best with someone who could work with him on his separation anxiety. Jordon does well with other dogs or, in his eyes, other friends. He can sometimes be forgetful of his size and come on strongly, but all he wants to do is play and make friends. He even grew up with three brothers. He can be hesitant at first with people, but he warms up quickly and just wants to cuddle and/or play. Because of his size and lack of awareness of such, he would do best in a home with bigger children. If you want a constant cuddle bug or a friend to all, apply for Jordon today! -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
House trained: Yes Energy level: Medium Noise level: Barks occasionally My foster guardian says: My favorite thing about Vela are the hilarious sounds she makes to communicate with her people! I never knew a dog with such vocal range! Likes: Riding in the car, going for walks, taking naps Hi Im Vela! My foster family describes me as incredibly pleasant and good natured. What a glowing review, right?? They also say Im friendly and easy-going, up for any kind of adventure, and the perfect balance of sassy and sweet! At home Im a very well-behaved girl. I like to keep watch over things, and let my people know if anything suspicious (like a squirrel is approaching the perimeter). But dont worry, my foster family says Im not loud or disruptive, just an alerter! I never chew things up, Im good in my crate overnight and during the day, and Im okay with staying home alone too. Im very polite with sharing my food and toys with humans, and I respect boundaries and am a good listener! Im a curious girl, and I like to see what everyone is up to around the house, but Im not clingy. My foster family says Im the ideal blend of velcro dog and independent queen. Being such a good listener, I know a lot of tricks! I know sit, stay, down, off, come, touch, and some fancy obedience trial ones too! I like to learn, and hope that my forever family will want to keep the trick practice (and treats!) flowing! I also love puzzle toys and brain games. Im a smart cookie, and I love working on a project like a snuffle mat or frozen kong. Something Im working on is being calm outside the house, since I can get overstimulated when there is too much going on. Im practicing walking on a loose leash even when I see something fun to chase, but my foster family says Im easy to re-direct if something startles me or if I get distracted. When Im not lounging at the house or being a training superstar, I love to go on adventures! Im the perfect errand buddy, because I love riding in the car, and Ill happily sit up front and keep the driver company! I know Im supposed to stay in the back, but it would be rude to not greet my chauffeur when they come back to the car after a stop, right?? I cant wait to find my forever family, and go on all the adventures, and share all the snacks, and give all my love to them! If you think we might be a match, apply to adopt me today! Story
Hi, Im David! Im known around here for my sweet, friendly personality. I love being around people and have a gentle, easygoing nature that makes me a great companion. Whether Im showing off a few playful antics to make you laugh or curling up next to you for some quiet cuddle time, Im happiest just being by your side. I have a nice laid-back vibe, but I do enjoy getting out to explore the world, too. Walks are something Im still learning about, so Ill appreciate a little guidance on the leash as I build my confidence and skills. I promise Im trying my best! Ive done well with the other dogs Ive met here, so I may enjoy having a canine friend, or I could be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention myself. If youre looking for a sweet, affectionate, and easygoing buddy who will bring both fun and comfort into your life, I might just be your perfect match. I cannot wait to find a forever home where I can share all the love I've got to give. Story
Milo is a distinguished gentleman, and he has exceptional house manners. He is completely house-trained, respects bed/ couch rules, sits for meals, never jumps on people, is completely trustworthy when left alone, is patient and sweet with both kids and adults, and is a very, very quiet guy. He is clean and fit, and his handsome brindle coat and bouncy trot bring comments wherever he goes! Milo enjoys time in a fenced yard, though he is just as happy to wander the neighborhood and enjoy all the smells on leash. Milo is used to being an only dog, but is friendly with other dogs he meets while on walks. Most of the time, he can be found on one of his dog beds, preferably in a sunbeam, just happy to be near his people. His cutest feature is the occasional happy dream barking he does when fast asleep! Please let us know if you would like to meet Milo! HART Homepage: https://hart90.org/ Questions About this Animal? Story
ADOPTION FEE WAIVED!! Meet Bella: Your New Best Friend! Bella, a lovable Hound/English Bulldog mix, is a 3.5-year-old bundle of joy who believes her rightful place is curled up on your lap. Weighing in at 56 pounds, this sturdy girl loves a good play session followed by a cozy nap. Adopted as a puppy at just 8 weeks old, Bella is fully house and crate trained and has settled into her role as the perfect companion. Bella’s sweetness knows no bounds. She has a heart of gold, gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs, and is just an all-around gentle soul. As for cats, she hasn’t had the chance to meet one yet due to her mom’s feline allergy, but we’re confident she’d be just as loving with them. Bella is a true family dog and has a way of making everyone feel like part of the pack—sometimes even forgetting where her boundaries are (because she's just that loved)! Now, Bella is looking for her forever home—one where she’ll get all the cuddles, love, and maybe a few extra treats. If you’re ready to welcome this affectionate pup into your life, she’ll surely bring endless joy and wagging tails. And about that couch... Bella is on the lookout for a comfy spot, whether it’s next to you or in the sunniest corner of the room. So, if you have room in your heart (and on your furniture), Bella would be forever grateful for a place to call her own. To meet this charming girl, please fill out our pre-adoption application at www.littlebeansorphanark.com. Bella can't wait to find her perfect match and share her love!
