Story
Meet Ahsoka. She has lived with me for about 18 months now. She is a loving, gentle, calm, girl looking for her next home. She is obedient and reliable, knows all basic commands and isn't food aggressive. I recently moved her into a house with two other dogs, in the past 6 months she has bitten or attacked the other dogs 8 times. It's hard to tell what triggers her with the other dogs being non aggressive. But the fights have gotten to the point she cannot live here anymore, and I cannot move at this time. She is great with people, she has never been aggressive towards a person or child in the time ive had her. She is a great walker on a leash, loves to play fetch and be outside. Does well in a house with a contained yard but I believe she would learn her boarders without one. She needs to be in a home with no large dogs or any other dogs would be best

Story
Beautiful Frankie is looking for someone to love her more than anything. She is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 41 pounds, she will have much cuter pictures coming soon. Frankie is so sweet, calm and just a treasure. She is our shy girl who just loves to stay close to you. What a perfect sit and down she has too. Frankie is quite submissive though, the poor muffin, she tucks her cute tail and cowers when she is a little overwhelmed. She will also drop to the floor and scoot to you on her stomach when she is scared. This tender soul will need an experienced adopter who has the time and patience to build her confidence and trust. Frankie will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old due to her shy, insecure nature. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Frankie would love to meet them. Frankie was just so sweet when meeting a dog smaller than her, she made herself small and laid down on the ground to get to the other dog's level. Then she likes to “check in” with you too. If you are interested in Frankie and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Story
**Twinkie is in a foster home and not at the shelter** Hey there, I'm Twinkie! No, not the sweet treat, but I'm just as delightful. I'm playful, goofy, and curious. I might stumble around a bit, but that's just part of my charm. I have done fabulous with potty and crate training. I’ve even been left alone uncrated for about 3 hours with no issues too. My foster mom say she misses me too much to leave me any longer. I'm quite the chatterbox, always ready to share my thoughts. If you've had a long day, don't worry, you won’t have to say a word with me around. Everyday is an adventure with me. My foster mom says I am such a sponge taking so many new things in and I’m doing really great. I do enjoy car rides but I would love a little nudge to help me get into the car. My favorite game is playing fetch. Have two toys ready and we can keep the game going for a little while until it’s nap time. My foster mom says the cutest thing I do is chew/suck on my blankie. I tend to do that when I am tired or needing to self sooth. She says it reminds her of a toddler sucking his thumb. I really like other dogs a lot! When I am around other dogs I do tire out very fast and exhaustion sets in quickly. Honestly as much as I love them I think I would be best as the only dog in the household. I’m looking for a home that can provide me with stability and guidance as well as love and praise. A daily structured routine would be awesome for me so I’m not always guessing what will be next. I’m a creature of habit for sure! So I’m thinking everyone in the home should be teenagers or older so we can all establish our household routines together. I'm ready to fill your life with laughter and lots of tail wags. Adopt me and let's make our own fun-filled adventures together! Apply at k9stray.com and my friends at k9 will be in touch.
