Roux is an 85-pound gentle soul with a heart as big as his smile. At around 8–9 years old, this handsome mixed-breed boy is firmly in his “retirement era” — and he wears it beautifully. Roux has shown nothing but quiet resilience and kindness. He’s currently thriving in a foster home of his own, where he enjoys peaceful days, leisurely walks with his foster dad, and long, well-earned naps afterward. Despite his size, Roux has a soft spot for the little ones — he absolutely loves small dogs and even tiny puppies. He also has “grandkids” who visit a couple times a week, and he does wonderfully with them. Roux is trusted to roam freely in his foster home and is never kenneled. Medically, Roux has a medium heart murmur that does not require medication at this time — just routine monitoring at his annual veterinary visits. Roux is searching for a calm, loving home where he can enjoy cozy days, gentle walks, and all the affection he deserves. Story
I adopted Bubba five years ago while living with my parents, where he had a large yard and plenty of space. During that time, I was able to spend most of my days with him, and he became a very loving, people-friendly companion. He gets excited to meet new people but has never shown aggression toward humans. Since then, my life has changed significantly. I now have a young son, a demanding career, and live in an apartment, which is very different from the environment Bubba is used to. After a lot of consideration, I believe he would do best in a home that can offer more space and time. Bubba’s ideal home would be with someone who can spend a good amount of time with him, is physically able to handle a larger dog, and has a house with a yard. He has a calm demeanor, enjoys being close to his person, and is well-behaved indoors. He has never chewed furniture or shoes. He can be selective with other dogs. He has lived successfully with a French Bulldog, but careful introductions advised.

UPDATED BIODOB: 4/13/24                          Current Weight(as of 2/25): 45pds Adoption Fee: $200 includes 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness. LEGO is in a foster home and this is their update! Lego is crate trained and  housebroken!! Lego is super smart and has learned the 'sit', 'stay', ' come'  commands.  He is really well behaved in the home. He is still going thru the chewing stage so we have plenty of appropriate things he can chew on.  Lego loves people and is a people pleaser. Lego would love going to obedience classes to continue his learning.  Lego has turned into a well adjusted, gentle, sweet dog looking for his forever family.  Lego came to us from the Nevada  Animal  shelter as a puppy, he is now a year old.  He has beautiful eyes. Lego loves other dogs and he loves playing with all sizes but the little ones..... under 20pds can sometimes be overwhelmed with his playfulness. He would be a great playmate for a medium or large size dog.  Lego loves water! He has to put his paws in the water dish if not watched.  We have a kid size plastic pool that he loves to play in.  Lego will do great with most any family. Lego definitely sounds more like a hound when he barks! Lego requires a home with a fenced yard and kids 16 and older. Lego has been neutered, wormed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Im not really sure what to do and im very hesitant on making this.....but this is Diesel he's is the biggest sweetheart in the world I love him with all my heart and refuse to take him to a shelter i work 7 days a week over 60 hours a week and that isn't fair to him he is in his kennel basically all day and he deserves someone much better than that he has so much energy loves to cuddle he loves everyone and everything he would thrive in a home with another dog he loves to play he's 2 his birthday was 11/22 weighs 60 pounds up to date on shots I have some of his flea worm and heart worm prevention comes with food his kennel toys everything he's potty trained he doesn't whine in the kennel if he knows someone there he rarely ever barks knows sit stay and down he is very treat motivated he loves people he's a jumper he'll try to jump on you because he's happy I just want him to have a better life not one in the kennel all day

Hi! My name’s Houston. I'm a four-year-old boxer mix boy and kind of a beefcake at around 80 pounds. (I'd argue that it's all muscle, too.) One of the things I want most in a forever home is a human friend to hang out with, not doing anything in particular, just a couple pals spending time together. Wouldn't that be amazing? I'm a little shy at first, but if you'll give me a few minutes to get to know you, we'll be besties. And I promise to be your snuggle pup! Really, though, I’m way too smart to laze around 24/7. I know sit, down, stay, high five, orbit, between, and wait. Learning tricks is one of my favorite activities and I can pick up new ones in just a day or two. I love to run outside and play in water from the hose. In case I wasn't clear enough on that, I LOVE PLAYING IN THE WATER!!!. My favorite game of all is tug of war. (I'll even let you win sometimes!) I’m kennel trained, house trained, and am good at being left alone. In fact, I do some of my best snoozing in my crate while I wait patiently for you to come home. I’d do best in a home with older children because I’m still learning how to contain all my excitement around the little ones. Since I've been looking for a home for a while, I think I'd prefer to be the only doggo so I don't have to share. I’ve got so much love to share and I absolutely cannot wait to meet you!
