Story
Meet Dolly 🌸 She is a low-maintenance, easygoing girl who enjoys short walks, lounging in the sun, and relaxing in the grass. She loves affection and quiet companionship more than anything. She gets along with other animals as long as they give her space, she’d do best in a calm home with relaxed pets or as the only animal. Dolly is a gentle 9-year-old, 55-pound sweetheart who has overcome more hardship than any dog should. She spent the first part of her life chained to a tree in Indiana for three long years, used for breeding until she could no longer have puppies. When she was no longer wanted, she was left to live in a car in Ohio. 🌸Despite everything she’s been through, Dolly’s heart is pure gold. She’s now working on gaining back some healthy weight and learning what it feels like to be safe and loved. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and recently had a few growths removed, so she’s ready for her forever home. After everything she’s survived, Dolly truly deserves a peaceful, loving place to call home, one where she can finally just be loved. ❤️ Text to meet Dolly 🌸440.773.1707 / (216) 470-4322❤️

MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Blaze, a 1-year-old, 52-pound Boxer mix, is a good boy through and through with a wonderful medium-energy personality. He enjoys playtime and activity, but he’s just as happy giving love and soaking up affection. Blaze is currently learning his commands and is a great listener who responds well to guidance. He can be a little jumpy at times, but he corrects easily and is eager to please. Blaze does well with kids and other dogs and has not yet met cats. He walks nicely on a leash overall, though he may pull a bit when he spots something exciting—something that will continue to improve with practice. Blaze is both crate trained and potty trained, making him an easy and lovable companion. Sweet, attentive, and well-balanced, Blaze would be a great fit for a family looking for a dog who can play, learn, and cuddle right alongside them. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training, & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Jazzy is a 4-year-old Boxer mix with a tender heart and a quiet soul. 💙 Although he may be missing an eye, it just makes him all the more unique! Jazzy’s working hard on potty training and truly wants to please his people — consistency and patience will help him continue to succeed. He is crate trained and does well having a safe, cozy space of his own, although he may be vocal at times before settling down. This sweet boy prefers durable chew bones, as blankets and stuffed toys tend to become his creative projects. Jazzy is shy and easily startled around new people, but once he feels safe, his gentle nature shines through. Jazzy thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where he has another dog or people around to keep him company and feeling safe. He is kid-friendly, calm, and more of a quiet observer than a rowdy participant. If you’re looking for a sensitive, loyal companion who just needs a little time to feel secure, Jazzy may be the perfect fit. Story
Meet Ebony! 🐾 Ebony is an adult boxer–bulldog mix with a sweet, silly personality that’s guaranteed to make you smile. She’s friendly, affectionate, and full of charm, especially once she feels comfortable. Ebony will do best with a patient, loving family who can continue helping her build confidence and show her just how special she is. She’s a fun, playful girl who also loves to snuggle. Squeaky balls, tug-of-war, and butt scratches are at the top of her favorites list, and treats are a great motivator for bonding and learning. Ebony does wonderfully with kids and other dogs but would prefer a cat-free home. When playtime is over, you’ll find her happily curled up on a comfy bed or buried in blankets—soft, cozy spots are her happy place. Ebony is crate trained and does well spending the night in her crate, patiently waiting in the morning. While she prefers being close to her people whenever possible, she settles nicely when needed. She walks well on a leash and is curious about the world around her. Her potty routine is coming along well, even with challenging weather. Ebony has shown no signs of aggression with food, play, or handling. With love, patience, and a little humor, Ebony will make a loyal, cuddly, and endlessly lovable companion. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!

Story
Miss Patsy’s bio from her stay at the shelter: Miss Patsy has been a hit for various activities off-site, from hikes to exploring agility centers to hanging out at a volunteer's house. Patsy was graded as an A+ cuddle buddy, and you'll be tempted to spend all day petting her luscious rolls. She absolutely belongs stretched out on a plush spot on the couch!   Patsy is also a silly, spunky, and playful gal who is full of life and entertaining charm. She enjoys her walks and play time. Patsy has also been playfully social with other dogs and she has a fun time wiggling around the yards with a favorite toy (and showing off her buns!) She's a great sport for trying out all sorts of new activities and adventures, and her earnestly enthusiastic, clumsy approach to life is sure to bring a smile to your face. When she's excited, she can get a little jumpy and exuberant and with this and her size, she would do best in a home with older kids and adults. It doesn't take her too much activity before she's ready to settle back down and snuggle. Patsy is also a smarty who knows sit and down, and she listens well. She also seems housebroken (no accidents) and rides well in the car. She definitely already has some manners down. Patsy has a lot of personality and she's ready to share it with a family. This goofy, attentive lady is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs 76 lbs.November 19, 2025, 8:39 pm

MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Zero is a 6-month-old male Pit Bull mix weighing about 35 pounds, and he is as gentle as they come. He does great with other dogs and kids and has not yet met cats. Zero is crate trained and doing well with potty training, especially when given frequent opportunities to go outside. Although Zero is still learning how to signal when he needs to go outside, with patience, reassurance, and regular potty breaks, he truly tries his best to keep the house clean and continues to improve every day. This boy is extremely affectionate but takes a minute or two to build trust. Once he feels safe, he becomes an absolute love bug who wants nothing more than to cuddle close—he’ll happily be your personal weighted blanket! He loves all toys and is highly food-motivated, which makes him eager and willing during training sessions. Zero does have a fear of bathrooms, likely from something in his past, but he is making progress and slowly learning how to be brave. He’s still learning his name and basic commands, but with treats involved, Zero is a quick and enthusiastic learner. Sweet, sensitive, and full of love, Zero is looking for a patient, kind home where he can continue building confidence and shower his people with affection.
