Story
Kenneth will mesmerize you when you look into his gold colored eyes! Don't let his prematurely white "beard" fool you, he is a young, happy go-lucky kind of guy that just wants to be around you, giving and getting love and affection. Kenneth enjoys daily walks and zooming around the backyard. He does well in a kennel when alone, but prefers to be by your side when you are home. He is a really good bed warmer! He does well with other female dogs of like size, when introduced properly. Is casually okay with other male dogs but he has not been tested off leash. Kenneth is up to date on all his vaccinations, neutered and heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application on our website at www.hhfrescue.org. Thank you for considering a rescued dog!

Gumball is a 10 year old brindle, American Staffordshire Terrier. He's potty trained and currently living in boarding. He is good with other dogs and really needs a home to show him some love. Story
Sadie is a 60 lb, 7-year old, AmStaff mix. She is up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. Sadie is currently in boarding and would love a foster or forever home. Sadie may be an older girl, but she is a puppy at heart. She is a strong girl loves to go on walks and play, particularly with rope toys and tennis balls. My best feature is my tongue, if it's hanging out it's a fun time! She would do best in an adult only, active home where she can be an only pet. He's an athletic build, six feet tall on the internet, and still has most of his hair! Slater isn't ashamed to kiss you in public, and he loves long, romantic walks. He might snore, but he makes up for it with his willingness to make every morning a lazy morning. Slater is a 2 year old, 60 lbs. blue American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is currently living in boarding and needs a foster or adopter. Slater is house trained and crate trained. He is picky about his four-legged friends, so slow introductions are a must. Story
Marvel is a 6 year old, male, 60 lb, American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog mix. He is crate, house, and leash trained! He is a high energy boy who would love to be an only child and someone's running or jogging partner. He is great with everyone he meets and is such a cuddle bug. He loves jumping on the sofa with you to watch some tv but also loves a great game of fetch. He loves all types of toys but balls gives him life! He's a dominate boy who needs an assertive owner to give him boundaries and limits. He would excel at any dog sport! He has completed some amazing training with Tail to Tail Training to give him a solid foundation and they are even willing to donate a 1 to 2 hour refresher course to show an adopter what he's learned and how to handle him so he can reach his full potential. They also offer lifetime group sessions to keep him on his toes. He isn't the biggest fan of other dogs only dogs that are submissive and lower energy. His high prey drive that gives him an edge in dog sports makes him difficult to have around cats or small animals. That also makes him a bit of an escape artist if he chases a cat or squirrel up and over a fence. He's currently loving leashed walks for going potty and fetch out on leash with a long line/tether. Kids would need to be older and able to hold their own against his zoomies when he's excited. Story
Fitzgerald is an older man now, but needs a very special home. He is protective of his people and must be muzzled when meeting new people or going out in public. He warms up quickly though. He really enjoys the company of boys age 8 to 15, as they really bring him out of his shell. He enjoys other dogs, but does play very rough and sometimes doesn't like to share toys. He plays rough with people also, so small children are not recommended. He loves toys, especially a nice chew toy. He listens very well and loves to lounge around the house and follow his people around. He is amazing dog for the most amazing home.
