Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Hi there, I'm Arty! The ladies at the shelter call me Arty Havarti, because I was brought in riddled with holes thanks to some very cruel humans and their guns, as well as some dog punctures. I also sadly had a broken front leg when I came into the program but I'm healing nicely and my spirit couldn't be more bubbly! I LOVE spending time with people, and while I'm unable to socialize with dogs nor experience cats just yet, I'm ready to start looking for a home of my own! I'm a bit of a chatty Charles, always quick to make sure you know I'm here waiting for cuddles. My leash skills aren't too shabby, and I'm quick to learn fun things like 'sit'! I'm just a young pup, with gobs of love to give and eager to greet the world head on! Perhaps my start wasn't the best, but my future is super bright - maybe you're a part of it? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Dolly! Dolly is a young energetic pup who is known for her enthusiasm for playtime at the kennel. Dolly participates in daily playgroups and prides herself on walking the other dogs around the yard on their own leash. Dolly has shared some sleepovers with our staff where she has done well with children and slept quietly in her kennel throughout the night. Although fearful of the television and other new experiences at first, she warms up quickly and is a doll to have around! Dolly was rescued with mange and cracking skin from her infection. She has come so far and is growing her velvet coat out day by day. She would love nothing more than to fully recover in a loving home! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org. Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Rango, for all the hardships he's seen in his young life, is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet! Quite the Chatty Charles, Rango makes friends with everyone he meets and while that doesn't include cats he does appreciate a gentle canine companion. Having been hit by a car while on the streets, young Rango would benefit from a quieter family where he can spend his days in comfort. Rango is the perfect 'long walks on the beach' kind of pup despite his old injuries, and is regaining his strength and coordination more each day. There's a sparkle in his deep set eyes that can just melt you, and a zeal in every step he takes that shows his joy to be around. Gentle with his toys, and eager to take his next big step into a home, consider a tango with Rango! The perfect cuddle companion at just the perfect size, loosely 40lbs, this is one smart cookie of a dog who would make an amazing pupil for someone wanting a highly trained(think 'cool dog tricks') type of dog. *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
Big Mama is an affectionate, athletic, adventure-loving 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier mix who enjoys going on walks and meeting new people! Big Mama was a hefty girl when she was found, weighing in at over 70lbs, but she is now back to a healthier weight of around 60lbs. Big Mama was found laying in the middle of the road in a neighborhood before a kind couple decided to save her. Unfortunately, they had a pup who was not good with other dogs and with no plan in place for Big Mama, they had to take her to the local shelter. Being a pittie mix, she was quickly put on the euthanasia list after her stray hold was up. Through the tireless networking of her original finders, we became aware of Big Mama and decided to get her to safety! Big Mama is incredibly people friendly and loves to cuddle. She can be unaware of her size at times, so when she's zooming around the yard at high speeds you'd better watch out! Despite her being overweight, this girl can MOVE! When she was staying at her finder's house in the backyard, she would often jump up on their tall patio table to sunbathe! She loves to lounge around when she's indoors, but once she's outside it's gametime! Big Mama has done well with most of the pups she's met, but she seems to do best around medium to large size male dogs. She tends to be more assertive and dominant with other female dogs which most dogs don't appreciate, so a home with only male dogs would be best for her. While she does enjoy playing with others, she does not need a doggy sibling to live her best life! Big Mama is potty and crate trained, knows sit and shake, is very smart, and is good on a leash. Due to her energy level and being unaware of how big she is, she should ideally go to a home without young children. Big Mama is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

Story
This is Ms. Harper. Harper is 5 years old. She is a Pitbull/lab mix and an absolute sweetheart. We rescued her back in December of 2020 and she has been with us ever since. She is a little skittish due to her past before the rescue but with a little love and patience, she will warm up to anyone. Sadly, we are having to part ways with her because of our newborn baby being born and us not having the time nor space to keep her anymore. We are hoping to find her a great home and owner that is just as sweet as her.

Story
Diego & King may be getting up there in years but they are still as sweet as ever. These gentle pups love nothing more than curling up at your feet and showering you with love and affection.
