Meet Candy, a 5-year-old Pibble mix with a heart as big as her smile. Candy is the definition of a sweetheart. Her loving nature and vibrant energy make her the center of attention wherever she goes. A true social butterfly, she adores being with her family, whether it's a cozy day at home or an adventure out and about. Candy was born with pulmonic stenosis, but thanks to successful surgery, she's thriving. She will need ongoing medication and periodic follow-ups to monitor her heart, but nothing slows down her love for life. This gentle girl is housetrained, walks beautifully on a leash, and easily uses a doggie door and doorbell. Candy knows commands like "No, "Sit, and "Stay, showcasing her intelligence and eagerness to please. With her low to medium energy level, she's equally content with a leisurely walk or a relaxing cuddle session on the couch. Candy's greatest joy is being by your side, offering belly rubs and snuggles in return. Her warm presence lights up every room, making her a perfect companion for a loving home. She is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
My name is Daisy as in Daisy Mae Duke. I’m pretty enough to be the homecoming queen and tough enough to whip the tailback. I like cuddles, quiet time, and have learned that I DO like toys and treats. I am faster and more agile than my dog-brothers. I arrived at my foster’s house so shut-down that I wouldn't eat food or take treats. After a couple weeks of quiet time and sleep, I started to rebuild trust. I’m learning from my dog-brothers how to behave and be a part of a family. I never knew life could be this good. I never have accidents in the house. I am house trained, so long as I know where to go outside. I sit by the door to tell you I need outside. I enjoy sunning outside and don’t prefer the rain or cold. I can be trusted out of my crate and by myself for a couple hours, but don't leave shoes or toys on the floor, I need toys that are my own. I’m not a barker. I’m happy to lounge quietly or play chase outside. I can walk on a leash and am gaining confidence. Some might call me a shy girl, but I have a spunky side behind this shyness. Kids don’t bother me; I live with an 11 and 8 year old. I have always been gentle with kids as young as 5. I’d be happiest in a home with another animal to show me the ropes. Despite my rough start I know there is still a happily ever after waiting for me. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Rodeo is living his best foster life with a bunch of dogs half his size—and somehow they’re the ones keeping up with him. He’s potty trained, sleeps like a prince in the big bed with his foster dad and canine sisters, and hasn’t destroyed a single shoe (heroic, really). He loves water, snuggles like it’s a full-time job, and walks beautifully on a leash. Rodeo does think cats are furry little track stars, so a kitty-free home is best. If you’re looking for a lovable hunk who gives A+ hugs and lives for cuddle puddles, Rodeo’s your guy.
