Story
Cosmo is a sweet, loving Bulldog Mix, approximately 2–3 years old & around 35 pounds. Heartworm negative. He loves people, belly rubs, treats & especially car rides & walks ! He is crate-trained & house-trained, is very quiet in the home, & does great with baths, nail trims, and ear cleaning. He is also very gentle when taking treats. He can be an energetic & calm boy who is still working on a few manners. He is not cat-friendly. He can be dog-selective, so any dog introductions need to be slow. He does like some dogs. He liked our other older dog & my mom's dog. He would do best in a home without cats or young kiddos & with someone able to handle his strength. Cosmo is truly a wonderful & beautiful dog with a lot of love to give. He would thrive with an owner who is familiar with bully breeds & who can provide structure & patience. He loves giving kisses and being a lap dog! My husband is disabled & can't physically handle his strength... even though he is a mini bully.

Story
Keny is a sweet and loving boy who is looking for someone who understands that the best friendships are built on trust. While he may be unsure of new people at first, once he knows you’re someone he can count on, he becomes a wonderful companion who loves being by your side. Keny needs a person who will advocate for him and respect his need for a proper introduction. He isn’t the type to immediately welcome every new face into his space, and he would do best in a calmer home where he isn’t overwhelmed by lots of visitors or constant activity. A quieter environment with people who understand his boundaries will help Keny feel safe and confident as he continues to blossom. Once Keny trusts you, you’ll see what makes him so special: a loyal, affectionate friend who is ready to give his whole heart. He forms deep bonds with his people and will happily be your devoted companion. This handsome guy has so many great qualities already. Keny walks beautifully on a leash, knows his commands, and is potty trained. He has a playful side and enjoys having fun, but he also knows when it’s time to relax. In fact, he spends a good part of his day happily snoozing and enjoying some well-earned downtime. Keny is the perfect balance of adventure buddy and couch companion. He has energy when it’s time to play, but he’s just as happy to settle in and enjoy a quiet moment with his favorite person. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will form a deep and meaningful bond with you, Keny may be the perfect match. Give him the patience, understanding, and calm environment he deserves, and he’ll show you just how special he can be.

Story
Available in TX only! Granger, a 54-pound young adult rescue dog, embodies a unique blend of traits that make him an endearing companion. Initially cautious around strangers, he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate friend once he establishes trust. His wide-set, beautiful eyes are a distinctive feature, complemented by charmingly bow-legged stature reminiscent of a bulldog. Granger thrives in the company of other dogs, eagerly seeking opportunities to snuggle and play with his furry pals. His social nature extends to adoring kids, showcasing gentle and amiable behavior around them. A testament to his adaptability, Granger is both kennel and potty trained, demonstrating discipline and understanding of boundaries. While initially uneasy with car rides, he is gradually becoming more comfortable, displaying resilience and openness to new experiences. Granger came into rescue with frequent upper respiratory infections. Extensive medical testing was done and it was discovered that he has a fungus that infiltrated his lungs and cervical spine. He underwent a vaccine regimen to stop the progression of the fungus. He will require that vaccine annually. Despite his medical condition, he continues to thrive and love life! His gradual acclimatization to car rides mirrors his overall willingness to embrace change and learn. Granger's journey from a hesitant newcomer to a beloved companion reflects his resilient spirit and willingness to form deep connections. In essence, Granger is an amiable, adaptable, and affectionate dog whose gradual warmth towards strangers underscores his loyalty and trustworthiness once he embraces friendship. His love for canine and human companionship, along with his charming features and gentle demeanor, make him a cherished addition to any loving home. Story
One gaze at Sophie's gorgeous bicolor eyes and you'll fall madly in love with this beautiful girl. Abandoned by her previous "family," Sophie is ready for a real family who will love her forever and give out endless walks, tummy scritches, and treats. Comfy couch also a plus. Sophie's perfect people are active (walks! runs! hikes! agility training!) and are also home often, with lots of kindness to give so Sophie realizes that she will never be dumped and all alone again. If you can type one-handed so you can pet her all day with the other, that is a bonus. She would love a fenced yard where she can get the zoomies, pester the squirrels, and soak up some sun. She is crate trained, potty trained, and good with other energetic dogs (with proper intros, of course). Are you ready to meet this beauty and show her that the world is full of good people with endless pockets of treats? Sophie is ready to meet you! <3 **Available for foster or adoption in the greater Austin, Texas, area only**

Story
Meet Kevin, gold medal winner for snuggliest house hippo! Kevin loves affection, including cuddles, belly rubs, leaning against you while you work, and giving you heart eyes. He is equally happy playing fetch in the yard, basking in the sun, and snoozing on the couch. Kevin enjoys the company of other dogs and plays really well with his foster brother. He loves going on walks and sniffing all the smells, and is still working on his leash manners and not pulling when he gets excited (squirrel! leaf! sprinkler!). He needs a cat-free home and would do best with older kids who are comfortable with his size and zeal for life. He is potty trained and crate trained but prefers sleeping in the open when possible. (See above: couch snoozles) Kevin's ideal home would include a yard for zoomies and sunbathing; an extremely comfortable couch and 24-7 access to it; and a Kevin-only space for eating and keeping his extra special toys all to himself. He would enjoy a playful doggy friend or be content as an only dog. Most of all, he would love it if his people worked from home full or part time so he can be their cuddly coworker. Kevin is ready to review resumes for a forever family or a long-term foster! And he doesn't care a bit about strategic initiatives, KPIs, or excel experience, as long as you have plenty of room in your heart and home to love him forever. <3 **Adoptable for adoption or long-term foster in the greater Austin, Texas, area only**

Story
We’re looking to re-home our sweet boy, Ozzy, and finding him the right home is our priority. Ozzy is a 1 year, 4 month old, 70 lb American Staffordshire Terrier/Great Pyrenees mix. We were told he was cat-friendly, but trainers have determined he cannot safely live with our cats. This has been heartbreaking because Ozzy has stolen our hearts. He is affectionate, loyal, smart, and loves to cuddle. He’s neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, healthy, house/crate trained, great with people and dogs, loves car rides and outings, and has no resource guarding. Tricks he knows include sit, stay, lay down, leave it, come, circle, paw, crawl. We’re looking for a loving, cat-free home where Ozzy can be part of the family. A semi-active home willing to continue his training would be ideal. This is NOT first come, first served. We’ll carefully screen for the right fit and are happy to wait. Ozzy is a very special dog. We just want him to have the safe, happy home he deserves. --NOT CAT FRIENDLY--

Story
Ace – Looking for the Right Home Ace is a sweetheart who loves his people. He is very gentle when taking treats and has a playful, goofy personality, especially when meeting new people. Once he bonds with you, he's affectionate and enjoys being around his family. About Ace Potty trained Mostly crate trained (though not perfect) No formal obedience training Large, strong dog who will need an experienced owner willing to continue his training Ace's Story Ace came to us after a previous roommate left him in our care. We've done our best to provide for him, but we've realized that we don't have the time or experience needed to properly train and manage a dog of his size and breed. Unfortunately, Ace has frequent conflicts with our older dog, which is the main reason we are rehoming him. For his safety and the safety of other pets, we believe he would do best as the only dog in the home. Same goes for cats.
