Story
Bordeaux is a lovable American Bully looking for his next home. He loves to be around his people, he’s well trained, and loves car rides. He is great with dogs, cats, and especially kids. Looking to rehome Bordeaux to someone who hopefully has experience with the allergies and ear issues that are associated with the breed. Unfortunately, we are not equipped to handle them at this time and are reluctantly looking for his next home. Bordeaux is registered with the American Bully Kennel Club and has papers as well.

Story
Hank the Tank is about 3-4 years old, a 90+lbs lap dog. He is a big goofball of love and loyalty. Truly he is the biggest protector of our home. He enjoys walks, playing with chew toys, and any running water (shower/hoses/etc). While he loves to play with his dog siblings, he has become a bit protective of things at times. Unfortunately for that reason we have to rehome him, preferably to a home with no other dogs or with a non-dominant dog. He truly is the best boy in every other way and he deserves a life filled with of love and snuggles. If you think that you could be the home for him, please reach out!

Story
Stewie has one eye.But somehow, he sees more goodness in the world than most people do with two.Stewie was found chained in a junkyard, starving, heartworm-positive, and suffering from a devastating facial injury that ultimately cost him one of his eyes. That eye surgery was made possible through RACC's Team Tommie Fund. To everyone who proudly displays a Team Tommie license plate, thank you. Because of you, this sweet boy got the chance to become exactly who he was always meant to be.After twenty-one weeks at Animal Aid, Stewie is heartworm-free, healthy, and, thanks to regular meals and perhaps a few too many treats, pleasantly plump. And here's the remarkable part - Stewie doesn't carry around a single ounce of bitterness. His world is wonderful.Every walk's the greatest walk in the history of ambulation. Every toy's his favorite toy. Every person's the best person ever. He loves with his whole heart (and his whole body, and his big, blocky head). His tail starts wagging, and the rest of Stewie just sort of comes along for the ride. The only thing that truly makes Stewie sad is loneliness. Now that he's learned people can be kind, rub his ears, sneak him treats, and tell him he's a good boy, he misses them when they leave. In a shelter, they're always leaving. They're always gone too long. His future family will need a little patience to help him channel all that joy into good manners. But the important part is already there. Stewie's devoted, loyal, and SO eager to please. You can teach "sit." You can't teach that kind of heart. If you're looking for a perfectly calm, polished dog, Stewie probably isn't your guy.If you're looking for a dog who believes every day is worth celebrating, every person is worth loving, and every goodbye is only temporary, we'd love for you to meet Stewie. We hope you'll see what he sees.Stewie would love to meet you at Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA. Visiting hours are 9am to noon, daily, including weekends & holidays.Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Story
**COURTESY POST**-- Contact kfour25@gmail.com to learn more. Sheba is not kenneled at Animal Aid Society. Sheba's original owner passed away from cancer. A kind friend of the owner has been caring for Sheba in her home. There are other dogs in this home. Sheba prefers to be an ONLY dog so this has presented a bit of shuffling in the home. To keep the dogs separated, they have to rotate the dogs out of their crates. Sheba would love to have a permanent home where she wouldn't have to be shuffled about. She loves people. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, on heartworm and flea preventative and is in tiptop shape. Could you be the guardian angel that Sheba has been waiting for? Please contact kfour25@gmail.com to meet Sheba and her foster Mom or have any questions answered.Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.

She loves her humans as much as she loves anything. Her black fur shines bright sometimes even looking chocolate-like. Her chest holds the brightest of whites in her fur. This active girl is looking for a family who will spoil her 'til the cows come home! As we learn more about Monica, we will update this bio but don't wait for the updates! Come on out to meet her yourself! And don't forget to bring any resident dog in for a meet and greet.
