**COURTESY POST**-- Contact kfour25@gmail.com to learn more. Sheba's original owner passed away from cancer. A kind friend of the owner has been caring for Sheba in her home. There are other dogs in this home. Sheba prefers to be an ONLY dog so this has presented a bit of shuffling in the home. To keep the dogs separated, they have to rotate the dogs out of their crates. Sheba would love to have a permanent home where she wouldn't have to be shuffled about. She loves people. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, on heartworm and flea preventative and is in tiptop shape. Could you be the guardian angel that Sheba has been waiting for? Please contact kfour25@gmail.com to meet Sheba and her foster Mom or have any questions answered.Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.

Story
One moment, he's relaxing sunbathing in front of a window. The next he's playing with his toys hyping himself up. Trunks is a energetic and overly friendly dog. I loves cuddles, back rubs, and running around outside. Trunks has been fairly good around other pets. He's not aggressive, or dangerous. Depending on the size of the dog, also depends on how he'll interact along with them. He's spent nearly a year with a small chihuahua, and a few weeks with a pit, a little bigger than him. He's spent small amount of time with small kids; however, he's never been aggressive with them. May need small interactions with them. A home with a nice yard would be perfect, but he'll thrive in a normal apartment as well. Trunks has basic training. He's house and crate trained, and knows sit and to stay out the kitchen. He knows not to jump on beds, despite his attempts as I'm laying down. While on the leash, he does pull. I haven't taken the time to fully leash training him.

Story
Meet Tom – Your New Best Friend Wrapped in Wiggles and Charm Tom is a squatty, wiggly, absolutely lovable 58-lb bully mix who was found as a stray in mid-May. At around 2 years old, he’s that magical age where puppy playfulness meets grown-up companionship — fun, affectionate, and ready to bond. Tom came in with his brother, who has already been adopted. Now Tom is patiently waiting for his turn. Through everything, he’s stayed joyful, confident, and endlessly loving. He greets everyone like a long-lost friend, offering full-body wiggles, big smiles, and a happiness that’s impossible to ignore. Despite his short, stocky build, Tom is all bounce and personality. He adores people and thrives on connection. He’ll lean into you for pets, follow you just to be near, and soak up attention like it’s his favorite thing in the world — because it is. Whether he’s playing, exploring, or curling up close by, Tom just wants to be part of your life. Tom is dog friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs, but he’d be just as happy being your one and only, soaking up every ounce of love and devotion for himself. What matters most to Tom isn’t how many dogs are in the home — it’s that he belongs. Resilient, joyful, and full of heart, Tom is ready to leave his stray days behind and give his whole self to a family who sees how special he is. If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh, love you deeply, and greet every day like it’s the best one yet — Tom is waiting. Email adoptpetersburg@gmail.com to meet Tom and fall in love.
