Story
Wonderful, Awesome, Amazing Chewy! Volunteers favorite! This guy is one of the coolest dogs to come into our rescue. Their breed is a watch dog breed, so he takes a little time to warm up, but he will sit and let you love on him etc he just may grump a little at first. We don’t know his history, other than he Ended up in the shelter on death row, where we pulled him. At first, he didn’t show us his amazing personality, but it slowly came out. And then, so did his amazing vocal abilities, and yes, this is where he got his amazing vocal abilities that sound just like Chewbacca from Star Wars fame. Chewy gets along with other dogs, is a sweetheart, loves people and kids, not sure a out cats. When we first got him, he got very excited about the chickens in their pens, but he was easily redirected away from this obsession, and now he has no issues with them at all. He is approx 2.5 years old. Fully vaccinated, neutered, wormed and microchipped, and ready for his new home! Contact us today

Story
Brad is a very sweet and protective dog that I adopted since he was a baby. He loves us but unfortunately he doesn’t get a long with other dogs. He needs a family who will only focus on him and no other pets. He loves us and we love him but he is just aggressive with other senior dogs or small animals. He is potty trained and crate trained. He doesn’t like baths but will volunteer when he’s dirty enough. He’s trained to sleep in his kennel indoors.

Story
Hello! I’m Kara, a 6 year old Anatolian. I am soft and fluffy and enjoy cuddles and giving kisses. I love to run and tackle my big brother. I grew up on a 9 acre avocado and fruit orchard and protected my human family from coyotes. We moved 3 years ago to a small yard and now my brother and I have no room to run. We get walked 3 times a day but we miss running around at top speed and protecting our property day and night. My brother is my best friend so we must go together.

Story
Izzy is a sweet girl who's got so much love to give.  She loves to cuddle and is very intelligent.  She's currently in professional training.  She's got a heavy coat so can overheat in SoCal climate so she loves the water and would do well at a home with a pool where she's allowed to swim.  She enjoys a job and will make a wonderful companion.  Interested in adopting this pet? Story
Dog aka "Samson is a beautiful young Belgium Malinois furboy. Dog was a stray, and no one ever claimed him or any previous home found. Dog is a fun, loving, and good furboy. He is always ready to play, loves to hug, and loves to just hold hands/paws; he loves to be touched. Dog walks great on a leash, and runs smoothly alongside of a bike. He gets along great with all dogs, big and small, but not sure about cats. Dog uses his crate with no problem. He is very smart and a quick learner. Dog is very active, adventurous, and strong. Dog needs an active and adventurous furever loving family where he can stay busy with; walks, hiking, running, playing ball, etc. Dog is a jumper; he can jump very high, therefore he will need a high fenced big yard to run and play in! When he meets new people, he can be a little hesitant, probably because he was on the streets for sometime before finding his way to my home (his now foster home), but warms up to everyone that he has come in contact with. He went through a training program but will benefit from further training and guidance. We are looking for an active family who has experience with large active dogs. Dog aka Samson will be available for adoption this Saturday (7/15) at Kahoots in Menifee from 10am to 2pm.

Story
Bailey is good with other large dogs. But she doesn’t do well with small animals. She is potty trained and kennel trained. She loves to walk and be pampered. But is very jealous. She needs to be in a home as the only pet. She’s great with adult child with special needs. I have not left her alone inside the house outside of her kennel. She’s a lovely little lady. Very smart if she’s the only dog. Unfortunately I have smaller pets that she doesn’t like and is always jealous of her other brothers and sisters.

Story
Our Dear Angel Gypsy comes with a big story and a huge heart. We will be accepting applications looking for the most perfect and loving home that she could ever have. Her story is sad but we are working on her fairy tale🙏💙🐾 (PLEASE SEE HER VIDEO ON THIS PAGE) Gypsy's story with us began when we learned she was dumped in the middle of Temecula. Running terrified and seeking shelter anywhere she could. Under bushes, on the sides of people's homes, near the duck pond. She was sited multiple times and many people tried to obtain her. She was elusive and scared. Finally one of our dear friends in rescue, Sandra, who is very skilled at catching scared dogs, set out on a mission to secure Gypsy. It wasn't long before we received the call that she was in the Trap and ready for pickup! This was an all Hands-On deck Collective effort. Gypsy spent the first few weeks here at our Ranch at Pipers Path where she spent time decompressing and learning to trust again. Poor Gypsy if she could only tell a story. We are sure it is one of betrayal and abandonment. And with such a noble and intelligent breed😰. The next leg of her recovery has been spent with our dear Fosters Eddy and Larissa who have given her the foundation to love again! ( scroll below to see the link to her original story) Gypsy is a very special girl. We know she is absolutely stunning to look at. Her gaited trot is breathtaking! But bonus, Gypsy is an absolute sweetheart. She is a moderate energy Malinois approximately 2 years old. Gypsy is good with cats and is playful with non-aggressive dogs. She prefers the company of dogs who are light-hearted and friendly. It will take a few minutes for her to warm up to a new person but she does not bark and she gives you a chance to show yourself to her. A few treats and a couple kind words and she is all yours. Our dream home for Gypsy is one which offers a family who has experience with the Shepherd or Malinois breed and enjoys their high intelligence and eagerness to be with you. We would love nothing more than Gypsy to enjoy regular walks, adventures, hiking, indoor fluffy beds and loyalty and companionship that will stay present for the rest of her life. Our promise to Gypsy is that she will never be dumped never be abandoned and will forever be loved! If you think you might be interested in Gypsy please reach out to us at Piperspathrescue@gmail.com
