Say hello to Triton COH! This handsome 3 year old neutered male Anatolian Shepherd was found as a stray in the City of Hawthorne and is now ready to find a loving home. Triton is a friendly boy who enjoys relaxing in a warm dog bed after spending time with his favorite people. He’s great with kids and has a calm, gentle nature that makes him a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loyal and affectionate dog. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. I’m 1 year 8 months old, and my family surrendered me to the Baldwin Park ACC because they said they had “too many dogs.” Zorro is currently safe with his foster family in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he’s beginning to decompress and learn what stability feels like. He is a 60 pound male Belgian Malinois with a sweet, affectionate nature and a strong desire to be close to his people. He loves one-on-one time and often leans in for comfort, showing just how much he values connection. He shows interest in other dogs and has the potential to do well with proper introductions, though he is still building his confidence in new environments. Like many dogs who have experienced sudden change, Zorro benefits from patience, consistency, and a calm, reassuring routine to help him continue coming out of his shell. During his time at the shelter, volunteers noted how well-mannered and gentle he was outside of the kennel. Given the chance, he showed his true personality — a loyal, soft-hearted companion who simply wants to feel safe and belong.
