Story
Cute, playful, and oh-so sweet - Bogey is the complete package! Bogey is estimated to be around 2-3 months old, and he is a charming boy who is quick to win your heart with his adorable antics and darling personality. He is an active guy who can't wait to be fully vaccinated so that he can go on lots of adventures. He has gained lots of confidence in foster care and loves making new friends. Bogey weighs about 17lbs and we think he will be at least 60lbs when fully grown. Bogey was found as a stray by a Good Samaritan. After an owner couldn't be found, his caretaker reached out to us to see if we could help find his fur-ever home. It has been such a pleasure to get to know Bogey, and we know he is going to bring so much joy to his new family. Bogey is your typical happy puppy that loves playtime. He is a big fan of squeaky toys and chewing on kongs. He is the perfect mix of active and affectionate, and would be a great companion for someone looking for a loyal walking and cuddling buddy. Bogey is one smart cookie and has already learned things like "sit". He will need to continue his training in his new home to help him grow up to be the best boy he can be. He is very food-motivated and is a blast to train with. Bogey has been doing great living with an older large dog. He has learned to be respectful with his play style and would love a playmate in his new home, but also could do well as an only dog with lots of dog friends to socialize with. We haven't seen Bogey around cats, but he is young enough that he could learn how to live with dog-savvy cats. Bogey has done great with kids and could be a wonderful addition to a family with kids 7 years and older. Bogey has been doing great with his housetraining using a dog door. He has also been doing well being left for short periods in his crate and sleeping through the night in there. Due to his breed and size potential, Bogey isn't a good fit to live in an apartment. Bogey is such an amazing little guy, and we can't wait for him to start the rest of his life with his forever family! If he sounds like he might be the perfect match for you, submit an application today!   Bogey's adoption fee is $400.   Apply to adopt here!  https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/   Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org)  It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. For more information about an animal, please email dogs@yolospca.org. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org. April 13, 2026, 7:23 pm

Story
Meet your new favorite wobbly best friend This handsome 3-year-old Anatolian mix is here to prove that a little wobble just means extra charm. His neurological condition gives him a signature â&#194&#128&#194&#156drunk sailorâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 walkâ&#194&#128&#194&#148but donâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t let that fool youâ&#194&#128¦ he gets around just fine, enjoys neighborhood strolls, and navigates the house and yard like a pro. Honestly, it just makes him more lovable (and a lot more entertaining). He is:- Extremely people-focused (your shadow, your fan club, your emotional support goofball)- Wonderful with kids- Sweet, obedient, and eager to please - Full of wiggles, tail wags, and pure joy He was deeply loved in his previous home, but returned because life got a little too busyâ&#194&#128&#194&#148and there was a cat involved who did not appreciate his enthusiastic â&#194&#128&#194&#156LETâ&#194&#128&#194&#153S BE FRIENDS!!!â&#194&#128&#194&#157 energy. To be clear: no aggression at allâ&#194&#128&#194&#148just barking and chasing. He just might do best in a cat-free home (or with very confident, dog-savvy cats and a committed adopter). He has occasionally marked in the house, likely due to the cat situation/territorial stress. The good news? Belly bands and consistent training can absolutely help manage and improve this. What heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s really looking for is a family who:- Has time to love him back as much as he loves you - Appreciates a dog with a little extra personality - Wants a loyal, happy, slightly wobbly companion If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve ever thought, â&#194&#128&#194&#156I want a dog that greets me like Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m the best thing thatâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s ever happened every single day,â&#194&#128&#194&#157 this is your guy.He may not walk in a straight lineâ&#194&#128&#194&#148but he will walk straight into your heart Come meet him. Youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll understand immediately.March 18, 2026, 8:12 pm
