This animal is available at the Napa County Shelter Phone: 707-253-4382 PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT NORTH BAY Ceszar 51719   Color: Brown   Breed: Anatolian Shepherd   Sex: Male   Age: 5 months, 4 weeks   Weight: 41.9 lbs Date   In: 12/31/2025   Ceszar came to us with his three siblings and was the least socialized of the litter. The shelter environment has been a bit overwhelming for him, but he's slowly starting to come out of his shell. This beautiful boy has all the classic Anatolian good looks-and he's going to be super-sized, so future adopters should be prepared! As a livestock guardian breed mix, Ceszar will thrive with space, regular exercise, and continued socialization, along with safe outdoor access. He's a sensitive soul and may do best in a home with adults or older children, as he can be easily startled. His loving nature is beginning to shine through, and with patience and understanding, the right adopter will be rewarded with a loyal, devoted companion for years to come.   The Napa County Shelter Erika Gamez Shelter Manager  942 Hartle Court  Napa, CA  94558  Main Phone: 707-253-4382  Main Fax: 707-253-6191  Kelly Tracey, Shelter Supervisor  ktracey@co.napa.ca.usFebruary 16, 2026, 8:04 pm

Story
Hank is a big beautiful 1 yr old boy that is fully/professionally trained. House trained (no accidents in over 6 months), crate trained (not a peep overnight for 9 hours even when my kids wake us up in the middle of the night), leash trained (amazing walker/ trained not to pull), well behaved in the car, loves going new places and meeting new people, takes treats gently. Hank is a mixed guardian shepherd breed and needs lots of exercise. If you have a big yard (which is needed for Hank), no need for a ball or frisbee, he will sprint around for hours by himself protecting your yard. He doesn't get along with our other male dog (8 year old lab) so we have to separate them. This is extremely difficult logistically with two other dogs and two young kids. His ideal home would have a large fenced yard and no other dogs.

Story
Meet Cookie! This 75-pound bundle of joy is a goofy, affectionate sweetheart who absolutely adores people. Cookie loves to snuggle and thrives on attention. While she can be a bit selective with other dogs—especially on leash—she does well with slow, proper introductions. Cookie is smart, knows a variety of commands, is fully house-trained, and highly food motivated (which makes training a breeze!). Because of her size and energy, she’d do best in a home without small children, though dog-savvy kids aged 10 and up would be just fine. Cookie is full of life and ready to join you on all your adventures!
