Story
UPDATE: Daisy has been in a foster home for the past 3 weeks. She is making huge strides and coming out of her shell. She is truely blossoming into and sweet, loving companion. She lives with 2 other dogs which helps give her the confidence she needs. She is not afraid of using the doggie door and even seeks affection, unlike before, she ran from affecdtion. We have discovered that Daisy could be deaf. That will be confirmed at her upcoming vet appointment.   Special Needs:  UPDATE: Daisy has made great strides.  She now goes on walks around the property, She hangs out with other dogs in our dog park. She is becoming much more comfortable around strangers. She is really blossoming. Give Daisy a chance at becoming an amazing addition to your family. Daisy needs someone with time and patience who wants to truely rescue a dog and help her blossom into an amazing companion. Daisy came to us very feral. She has improved but she is a project dog for someone who is willing to take the time and introduce her to the world and show her it is not such a scary place, She is making strides walking on a leash. She is very loving and sweet and has the ability to blossom if given the chance. Rescuing Daisy and helping her blossom will bring an overdose of joy and fullmillment into your life.  Adoption fees include: For puppies:  First year's vaccines, including Bordetella, microchip, and deworming.                                                                                                                                                                          Adult dog:     Vaccinations are current, microchip, dewormed and spay/neuter.                                                                                                                                               If you have current pets, we offer a Foster to Adopt Program, in which you have a two week trial period to make sure the animals get along, it's a good fit, and your begining to bond.                         Countryside Animal Rescue is open Tuesday - Friday 11am to 3pm by appointment only.Appointments can be made by calling 707-542-5582 or emailing countrysiderescuesr@gmail.com.  Please ensure that you receive a confirmation of your appointment before arriving to ensure we are properly staffed for your visit.Drop-In (Without an appointment) Satruday from 11am to 3pm.  We are closed Sunday and Monday.                                                                                                                                                Please complete our online applicationat  : https://forms.gle/PGmGoo2ZoBEtU4D18   ##2120745##

Story
Meet Tanner! He was found in Healdsburg abandoned in a crate. This rough start to life has left him a little hesitant of the world. Despite this, he is learning and growing every day in foster care. He gets along very well with other dogs & would prefer a canine companion in his future home. He is currently in a foster home with cats & another dog and gets along well with them. He loves toys, any type of treat, zoomies, and taking long naps! He is a sweet boy that seeks affection from both of his foster parents. Tanner will need someone that is patient while he`s still learning & a more expierenced home.

Lindsey isn’t just beautiful, she’s also charming & super sweet. Lindsey has participated in our dog day out program & explored Steelhead & Sunset beach! She had a blast and did very well – no leash pulling and friendly when meeting new people. She loves belly rubs and will flop over to get plenty of them. She was described as a “sweet, atheltic love bug”. She was timid but friendly when meeting another dog. We are recommending she go into a home with children 12 years and older.

Story
Indiana Jones AKA Jonsey Contact: Sharon 707-823-2342  Indiana Jones, aka 'Jonsey' is a sweet young (approx. 10mos) old neutered male cattle dog mix. Jonsey is very dog social & plays well with others. He's on the smaller side, maybe 30+ lbs. Jonsey was found with his sibling & the good Samaritan couldn’t keep both, so got Jonsey to a boarding kennel. Jonsey is a quiet guy, compared to some cattle dogs that can have a shrill & annoying bark. He is almost housebroken, which is hard, living in a kennel. Jonsey will be a great companion for someone patient, quiet, & willing to guide him along. Before coming to the kennel, Jonsey may have very well, never been inside. He is still tentative of loud noises, & unfamiliar places. He's coming leaps & bounds & loves all the folks who care for him. Jonsey will thrive in his own home.March 11, 2026, 10:00 pm
