Story
Lily is an active, full-throttle kind of girl! Grab life by the horns and run with it... or grab a big stick rather ! She LOVES running and chasing sticks, the bigger the better!!l She is super confident, a bit bossy, and selective about the company she keeps. Lily isn't a social butterfly, she would love a home with a couple active adults who don't have a ton of social activity in the home. She will protect, and maybe get possessive if allowed, so best to keep some boundaries with her! Smart, athletic girl who needs dog savvy folks with a yard and time to provide lots of love, play time (big sticks!) and ongoing training and stimulation. She doesn't love crowds, so no dog parks for Lily. Experienced dog-savvy applicants ONLY. Thank you for considering adoption of a Milo Foundation Sanctuary dog. Our Sanctuary is where our rescued dogs who have had difficulty in a home in the past, have behavioral issues, or too much energy, or for some, aggression issues with other dogs, or intense stranger danger that make them more difficult to safely and happily live in urban environments. These are not beginner dogs or for the most part nor are they for families with children. IF you are looking for an easy dog to add to your family, we suggest looking at the dogs at our Adoption Center, Milo Pt Richmond. BUT, if you can offer a safe and nurturing home to a dog with some behavioral "quirks" please do send an application today. Thank you.

Story
Tony is a sweet, handsome, goofy, and energetic lovebug! He wants nothing more than to play with his people and other dogs. He seems completely unbothered by the loss of one of his front legs, this boy is ready for action and love! Tony has been a longterm resident, coming to Milo in February of 2025, injured, alone and afraid. He was quickly given the care that he needed, receiving a pricey leg amputation to diminish his paid. Despite the traumas that Tony went through, that we will never know and can probably never imaging, Tony keeps his tail held high not giving up on finding his fuever family. Tony sees every person and dog as a friend and potential playmate. He has learned how to navigate the world with his new body and to walk on a leash with good manners, he is getting really good at "sit". He is also quickly learning that his crate is a happy place and does very well once inside and loves a good chewy toy or treat. Tony would be best in a home with a person/people who will nurture him with lots of love, exercise and continued training; he so badly wants to show that he's the goodest three-legged boy ever! He is extremely food motivated so training should be fun and effective. Tony has endless potential and is ready to show the world that tripods rule! Apply today to meet this wonderful boy!

Story
🐾 Meet London! 🐾 London is a small but spirited female cattle dog with a big heart and an even bigger love for her favorite people. This sweet girl may start off a little shy when meeting new faces, but give her a little time and patience, and she’ll soon be showing off her affectionate, playful side. Once she feels safe and loved, she becomes a total cuddle bug who adores being close to her family. London is an active and physically playful pup, always ready for a good romp, a game of fetch, or a fun adventure. She’s also affection-motivated — your attention and love are the best rewards she could ask for! She does wonderfully with other dogs and would love a friendly canine companion to play and explore with. However, she’s too much a fan of cats and will try to chase them, so a feline-free home will be the perfect fit. London’s ideal family will be patient, understanding, and ready to give her the time she needs to settle in. In return, she’ll shower you with affection, loyalty, and endless snuggles. If you’re looking for a family-friendly, playful, and loving companion who just needs a little time to blossom, London is ready to steal your heart! ❤️

Story
Dinah is a beautiful 3 year old cattle dog girl. She is shy at first and takes some time to adjust. Once she feels comfortable she loves to give hugs and be by her person. She can be a little nippy at times, which is typical of the cattle dog breed given what they are bred for. Dinah is great at playing fetch and will drop the ball at your feet. She would love a family who could play ball with her! She would be better with dog savvy kids because of this or good in an adult only home. If you are interested in meeting this cute cattle girl, please fill out an application on our website.
