Story
Meet Ruco Ruco was a rehome from craigslist about 7 years ago and is now an 8-year-old Australian Cattle Dog seeking a calm, experienced home where he can finally feel safe and settled. I travel too much for work now and cant be around enough. He is not a beginner dog, but for the right person he offers deep loyalty, intense bonding, and constant companionship. Ruco is intelligent, highly food-motivated, and eager to engage with his person. His favorite activity is playing fetch, and daily ball time is essential to his happiness and mental well-being. Ruco thrives with routine, clear expectations, and a confident yet gentle handler. Due to past instability, he can be anxious and reactive in certain situations and needs patience, structure, and thoughtful management. He does best as an only pet in an adult-only, low-traffic home with someone familiar with herding breeds, ideally home often. In return, Ruco will be a devoted shadow, loyal protector, and deeply committed companion.

Story
This beautiful puppy was found on the side of a busy road with their siblings. We are not sure of the breed, but it looks very much like a Cattledog mix, which will be medium-sized when fully grown. Their story is one of both heartbreak and survival. The puppies had clearly been abandoned, left with no food, no shelter, and no one to keep them safe. Tragically, one of their siblings didnt survivestruck by a passing car before help could arrive. The surviving puppies were frightened and unable to fend for themselves. Fortunately, a kind person picked them up. When they arrived here, they relied on each other for comfort and were so scared. But in a very short amount of time, with the love and care of our staff, these resilient pups began to recover. Slowly, their tails started to wag and their playful spirits emerged. Today, each of them has a chance at the happy, safe life their sibling never got to experience. Their journey is a reminder of the harsh reality many animals in our community face, but also of the incredible resilience and hope that can grow when compassion steps in. She has an appointment on 10/8 to be spayed and can go home to her new family the very next day. She weighed 27 lbs on intake. $350.00 adoption includes the surgery, vaccinations, and microchipping. Story
Meet Sienna! She is a beautiful, playful pup that has an estimated birthday of 3/1/25. She was found as a stray, but no owner came forward for her. That doesn't bring her down, though! She is so happy-go-lucky and is a joy to spend time with. She acts very puppyish still, so her new owner should look forward to laying the foundation for her training. Her breed is very intelligent, so she will be a breeze. She is good with dogs, but she hasn't been tested with cats, so a careful introduction or a safe separation is important for any cat home. She's young enough to be trained in that area as well. If interested, please submit an application on www.petsnpals.org. $350 adoption fee includes her vaccines, microchip, and spay.
