With a personality as strong as the one he is named after, six-year-old Apollo is a legend all his own. He is full of fiery spirit and is eager to go and do almost everything. He is very handsome and knows just how charming he needs to be to win you over. When out in the yards, he runs all over with a smirk across his face, enticing those around to join the fun. His favorite activity is playing ball, showcasing his speed while proudly bringing the ball back, triumphantly. A close second is going on a nice long walk with some of our volunteers. He is in need of some leash training as he can pull at times, and he loves to play grab the leash when first putting it on. He will sit for treats, which has helped, and has shown he is very treat motivated. Toys are also a fun pasttime, squeakers or a good stuffed Kong with peanut butter keep this guy happy. Apollo can be affectionate, showing it in his own way by leaning up against your legs, and is always prompt for scratches, but is not a fan of full on embracement. He has been making more and more human friends, but is not to happy sharing space with other canine companions. With such a large personality, an experienced owner would be ideal for this exceptional dog. This is Macaroon!! She is a 5 yr old heeler mix who has not had a kind life! She is vetted, utd on shots, spayed hw neg. A timid girl she would love a nice quiet home with maybe a quiet dog or two. Macaroon has been in a very temporary foster home for a week. We are in need of a longer term foster home until adoption. She is quiet, very timid, with both people and dogs. She does warm up to you, and likes to be petted. She loves to play with toys and enjoys a game of fetch. Needs socialization and leash work, patience, boundaries and lots of tlc. She does bond more to other dogs than people, so if you have a kind playful not in your face type of pup, that would be great for her to model after! Fenced yard is a must. Not small kids as loud noises do make her jumpy. She would be perfect for a couple who has a fairly steady routine, and can get started on outside walks in small doses. Very food motivated, house trained and loves her crate. You will need a crate for her, its her safe space. She will come along rather fast under the right conditions. This sweet boy came from Broward County Florida, in hopes to finding his forever home! He is a very energetic boy that requires plenty of outside time with his toys and other dogs! Cassian does amazing in play groups and usually burns all of his energy that way! He also love his peanut butter kong toy for a mental stimulant. He is a very trainable dog who enjoys training sessions and plenty of enrichment. He would be best with an active person or someone with a lot of yard for him to run around in. Not only is he very energetic, he loves his cuddle time too! He is a companion motivated dog and will most likely be attached to “his person” to play with him and love him. He’s just a lovable boy, looking for his forever home!
